What to expect at your appointment At Hearwego our practitioners will use a microscope to see a detailed view of your ear canal and examine the potential build-up of ear wax. Ear wax and debris are removed using a gentle device. Our appointments include an examination of your ears and removal of ear wax using microsuction, which typically lasts between 10-30 minutes. Depending on the consistency of the wax, we may need to revert to ear irrigation (commonly known as ear syringing) or instrumentation. In rare cases, a follow-up visit may be required to remove particularly stubborn ear wax.
