New fifth court
officially opened!
Chalfont St Peter Tennis Club (CSPTC)
announced the official opening of their
No 5 Court in the presence of guests from
the LTA and Local Parish Council.
This fifth court is brand new and it will double as
a Junior Tennis and Pickleball Court. Pickleball
is said to be the fastest growing sport in the US
and is becoming increasingly popular in the UK.
CSPTC are unique in offering this outdoor facility
alongside their current four floodlit tennis courts.
The Junior Court will greatly assist with training
their growing number of young players, whilst
also offering a very safe environment for the
youngest players that are being introduced to
the game.
This new court has not only improved the tennis
club, it has also landscaped the surrounding
walking paths for the benefit of all local
residents and dog walkers. The benefit to the
community for this investment has been funded
by the club’s members.
CSPTC prides itself as being a fun and sociable
club, welcoming everyone. The introduction of
Pickleball allows them to attract a new set of
members, alongside their tennis membership.

Join the KCAFC
Lionesses for the
summer!
The KCAFC Lionesses are running a training
programme for 7 Saturday mornings over
the summer for girls aged U10 / U11 (current
school years 5 & 6).
These sessions are designed to give girls who may
not have played football before a taster of what
it is like before they commit to joining a team for
the season. It is also an opportunity for those girls
who may belong to another club a chance to keep
up with their training and fitness while their current
club may be on a summer break.
The sessions will be held in Amersham football
club training ground from 9am to 10.15am from
Saturday 8th July to Saturday 19th August.
The training sessions will include some drills,
improving skills and mini matches. One Saturday
will also include a social after training to watch a
live screening of the England Lionesses as they
play in their first World Cup match. This will be
held in the clubhouse at Amersham Town FC with
bacon rolls and hot drinks too. We will then have
an end of summer finale on Saturday 19th August
with a fun Parents vs. Girls match, followed by a
picnic in the park.
If your daughter is interested in signing up, please
email membership@kcafc.co.uk. The cost for the
7 sessions is £20. This will be refunded if your
daughter signs up to join KCAFC for next season.
