Package offers a wide range of lens options and coatings including,<br />

Infinity XT, Hydro+, Honeycomb and Blue Shield.<br />

Stock Finished<br />

Use the online ordering “Stock Finished” option<br />

from the website. This is to order bulk or<br />

replenishment stock uncut lenses. When ordering<br />

using this method you need state the uncut size<br />

required.<br />

This platform provides live stock levels and alternatives if a lens is out of<br />

stock. It is a quick replenishment way to order uncut lenses for you to<br />

glaze within your business.<br />

Surfaced RX<br />

Use the online ordering “Surfaced RX” option from the<br />

website. This option can be used for both surfaced and<br />

stock lenses. You must select the uncut lenses only option.<br />

This method allows you to order uncut lenses based on ABD measurements, RX,<br />

mono PD's and vertical heights if necessary. Select from one of 8 frame shapes<br />

that best matches your patients frame, or simply select the uncut lens you need.<br />

This information is used to calculate the best uncut lens diameter.<br />

Uncut lenses can be ordered using this method for stock single vision<br />

surfaced <strong><strong>Lens</strong>es</strong> including bifocals, progressives etc<br />

Glazing & Fitting<br />

Our team can precisely cut your lenses and expertly<br />

fit them into your frame.<br />

To ensure a fast and efficient process, please provide us with your patients (PX)<br />

prescription, including RX (prescription details), mono PD’s, vertical heights, and<br />

lens type ABD measurements. Additionally, please select one of the eight available<br />

shapes that best matches your chosen frame. This selection will help us calculate the<br />

required blank for your lenses ensuring the best possible aesthetics for your patient.<br />

By following this method, we can promptly place your lens order and initiate<br />

production without delay. To proceed, securely package your PX frame along with its<br />

case. Please make sure to clearly label the frame with your account number and PX<br />

order number for easy identification. Once received the frame is married up with your<br />

patients lenses.<br />

Glazing Only<br />

<strong>Jai</strong> <strong>Kudo</strong> <strong><strong>Lens</strong>es</strong> offers a lens glazing service from<br />

the trace file you provide, and will return the lenses<br />

to you for fitting.<br />

To ensure optimal performance, it is important to regularly calibrate your tracer<br />

and keep it clean, ensuring the needle is free from debris. Please make sure<br />

to place the frame correctly in the tracer. It is your responsibility to ensure the<br />

accuracy of the trace file. You can conveniently upload your trace file using the<br />

VCA software installed (we can assist with the setup if needed). Remember to<br />

complete all the required fields on the order form and select the ‘Trace File’<br />

option.<br />

Once we receive the trace file, we will cut the lenses to match the shape specified<br />

in the file. This applies to both stock and surfaced lenses, as well as full rim and<br />

supra orders. After the lenses are cut, we will promptly send them to you so you<br />

can easily fit them into your PX frame.<br />

ORDERING BY POST USING YOUR JAI KUDO LENSES ORDER PAD<br />

When ordering a photochromic we recommend that you order the<br />

same lens type. For example, both stock lenses, or both surfaced<br />

per pair. Avoid combining stock with surfaced, as there may be<br />

slight variances with colour reaction time, depth of colour and<br />

residual tint.<br />

Also, the same applies with MAR coated lenses, it is best practice<br />

to have the same lens type for both lenses to ensure an exact<br />

match is achieved.<br />

When providing your A measurement please check the<br />

frame diagonal measurement also.<br />

This is essential as some frames that are asymetric for example,<br />

a classic aviator, often have a wider span from corner to corner as<br />

oppose to frame width horizontally. Failure to check this can result<br />

in lenses being produced that are too small to cut out.<br />

Please ensure that when you place your order online<br />

you check all parameters entered are correctly.<br />

To ensure a smooth ordering process, please complete the <strong>Jai</strong> <strong>Kudo</strong> <strong><strong>Lens</strong>es</strong> order pad with<br />

your account number, address, and PX details. Failure to provide these essential details may<br />

result in delays to your order. Once you have filled out the order form, please post it along<br />

with your PX frame and case to <strong>Jai</strong> <strong>Kudo</strong> <strong><strong>Lens</strong>es</strong>.<br />

Upon receiving your order, we will carefully assess and trace the frame, allowing us to<br />

determine the specific lenses required. This method is particularly suitable for orders that<br />

require <strong>Jai</strong> <strong>Kudo</strong> <strong><strong>Lens</strong>es</strong> glazing services, especially when dealing with high or complex<br />

prescriptions or non-standard frames.<br />

If sending a patients own frame to reglaze you must remove the<br />

lenses clean and inspect the frame. It is entirely at the patients own<br />

risk to reglaze a frame that has already been worn and previously<br />

fitted with lenses.<br />

Please note that this method relies on the services of Dx or Royal Mail for us to<br />

receive your order. Kindly allow an additional three days on top of the quoted lead<br />

times to accommodate for processing and delivery.<br />

Where possible it is always best to process patient orders electronically<br />

for accuracy and speed.<br />
