About Story Seeds
The Story Seeds project first sprouted in 2021, a collaboration between
Fighting Words, An Garda Síochána Community Engagement and local
schools - new stories to celebrate the areas where we all live, work and play.
The idea was that the first school would write the first chapter of a story, the
next class would write the second chapter and so on.
The first hugely successful collection was published with primary schools
on the northside of Dublin, followed by further collections from schools in
Dublin South, Dublin West, Drogheda, Co. Louth and in Co. Wicklow. The
collection you hold in your hands now contains stories written by schools in
Limerick City and in Co. Tipperary.
We think you will agree that each story is full of action and fun starring a
huge range of inventive characters in adventures from King John’s Castle to
the Rock of Cashel, from Moyross to Roscrea and everywhere in between.
Congratulations to all the young writers for a fantastic achievement. Enjoy!
Fighting Words
Fighting Words is a creative writing centre established in 2009 by Roddy
Doyle and Seán Love in Dublin. Fighting Words aims to help students of all
ages to develop their writing skills and to explore their love of writing.

Chapter One:
The Freda…ster
One hot summer’s day, Felicia woke up suddenly and
glanced at her clock in a panic. She realised quickly that
she was late and had slept in! Felicia grabbed her clothes
from the wardrobe and ran down the stairs. She made
her cup of tea as fast as she could. She ran outside and
got into her car but she had no petrol. She got out of the
car and ran past Shelbourne Park to the St. Munchin’s
Community Centre.
Felicia met her best friend Carlos, who was a Garda.
Thankfully, he gave her a lift. They drove through
Thomondgate, where they saw Thomond Park Stadium
from their windows. They went over a speed bump and
Felicia’s tea spilt everywhere.
“Oh, sugar!” Carlos said, disappointed. “You just got tea
all over my new car seats!”
“Sorry,” replied Felicia. “But I’m late!!”

She got out of the car and the lollipop lady helped her to
cross the road safely.
When Felicia eventually arrived at work, her boss
threatened her. “What happened to you?” he shouted.
“You’re twenty minutes late! You’re going to have to be
on time if you want to get promoted.”
“Give me a chance! I need a break, I am sick of making
chips,” replied Felicia.
“YOU’RE FIRED!” shouted the boss.
“I make the best chips. Why are you firing me?” she
pleaded anxiously.
“I don’t care, it’s your second time being late this week.
Enough is enough,” he told her.
She shook her head and walked off in anger, past Hassett’s
Cross. She saw a poster advertising the boss’s job at Pa’s
Chipper.
Felicia got this new job and ate a big bag of chips in
celebration. She invested all of her money to make sure
Pa’s will not get closed down. The only problem was that
a new guy named Alex wanted to buy Pa’s Chipper and
demolish it!
Carlos went to Pa’s Chipper and confronted Alex. “I
might have to arrest you, You don’t work here. why are
you here?”

Chapter Two: Pa’s Drama
Jack was a nice, small, nerdy guy with glasses. He was
a regular customer of Pa’s Chipper and he wanted to be
Felicia’s boyfriend. Little did Felicia know that Jack had
gotten the promotion at Freda’s to become the boss! He
was the new worker who had taken her job.
Jack opened the door to Pa’s and said “Hi, how are you
doing today?”
Felicia turned around and spilled her chips all over him.
She was surprised and got a fright to see him.
“Oh, I’m so sorry!” said Felicia. The chips were extremely
hot and they landed everywhere. As Jack tried to pick
them up, the chips went on his very expensive shoes -
his white Jordan 4s. To make it even worse, it was her
famous curry chips and cheese!
“Oh no, I really didn’t mean to do that,” said Felicia. “Do
you want to come in and wash your hands?”
“Yeah please, I would love that,” said Jack.
Jack was actually Alex’s brother but Jack was a good guy.
Or was he?
Meanwhile, Felicia went over to Carlos’s house, which
was three houses away from her own house in Ballynanty.
Felicia told Carlos all about Jack and he got very jealous.

Back at the chipper, Felicia got distracted by another
customer who had come in for their supper, leaving
Jack alone. Jack was searching for the secret recipe for
Felicia’s famous chips.
Jack found the recipe, but it was a fake one!
Chapter Three: Jack and Felicia
Jack put the recipe in his pocket and started to clean his
shoes. Felicia noticed that Jack had taken the recipe.
Felicia said to Jack with a fake smile, “I want to talk to
you.”
Jack was surprised. He ran to Freda’s with the recipe in
his pocket, but he started to feel bad.
“What have I done?” he thought to himself as he made
chips. Jack jumped into a taxi and rushed back to Pa’s.
Jack saw Felicia walking down the street near Pa’s.
“Follow that girl!” Jack said to Mikey the driver.

Jack hopped out of the taxi and told Mikey, “Thanks for
the ride,” as he paid him €10.
“Hey Felicia!” said Jack “Sorry for stealing. Here is your
recipe”.
Felicia was not happy. “You should not be stealing!”
Jack apologised again. “I’m really sorry, Felicia,” he said
with his heart beating loudly. He was worried Felicia
wouldn’t forgive him. “It’s okay,” said Felicia.
Jack asked, “Do you want to come for dinner with me to
Shake Dog?”
“Yes,” Felicia replied and they hugged each other.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” asked Jack.
“Yes!” said Felicia.

The Big School
Shock

Chapter One: The Tales of
Ellie & Carter: Pickle Adventure
Ellie is at soccer training, she is thinking about her secret.
She sees Carter standing at the sideline and she wonders
if she should tell him her secret.
Ellie is under a lot of pressure because she has her 6th
class exams and a big game against her archrivals at
Westbridge School. When soccer training is over she goes
to Iceland with Carter to get a drink and have a chat.
Carter asks, “Would you like Seven-Up or Lucozade?”
“Lucozade, please!” Ellie answers.
Suddenly, Ellie tells Carter, “I don’t believe anyone
landed on the moon.”
Carter asks,“Do you want to go to NASA and find out the
quickest way to get to the moon?”
She says, “Yes, let’s go!”

Ellie asks her father for a lift to NASA. When they show
up at NASA, there is no one there.
They sneak into NASA and see a pickle on the table. Carter
eats the pickle, the light flickers and suddenly he can
move stuff with his mind.
But then, suddenly, the door shuts behind them. They
hear the guards coming and they ran…
Chapter Two: The Alien’s Secret
Six guards come from all sides but the doors are locked.
Carter screams, “Please! Door open!”
The door flies off the hinges and they hurry through. Ellie
and Carter get a fright when they go through the door.
They take a step back because they are so scared to see a
big friendly-looking green alien. They stumble onto the
floor.
“Hi, my name is Mr Gooey and I will help you escape and
return back home.”Mr Gooey then says, “Eggselsior!”
BOOM!!
He shapeshifts and turns into a cardboard box. Mr Gooey
says, “Get in, quick!”
When they are all in the box, they teleport through a
whirling vortex. They are going so quickly they can see
different pictures of countries and places. EVEN places
like Paris and the Eiffel Tower!

They are scared, their heads hitting off the box in terror.
The cardboard box lands on the roof of Thomond Primary
School in Limerick with the alien, Ellie and Carter inside.
They fall through the roof into Room 13. This is a sixth
class classroom and the teacher is Mrs. Becker.
All of the children in the class were in the middle of a big
test - the big test that Ellie had been worrying about.
The box lands on the teacher’s table. The alien transforms
into his original shape.
A girl cries, “‘Oh NO! A big gooey alien!” The children
run in terror.
Mrs Becker says, “Bob, Is that you? Calm down everyone,
that’s my friend.”
Bob/Mr Gooey says, “Yeah it’s me. Long time no see!”
The teacher’s head starts to turn purple and into an
abnormal size. She fully transforms into an alien!
Ellie says, “Guys, I have to come clean about something…”
Chapter Three: Ellie’s Big Secret
“Girl, how dare you keep a secret from me?” says Carter
while snapping his fingers.
Ellie is about to reveal her secret when a vortex opens in
the roof, and a monster appears. She is white, fluffy and
hairy with six black eyes. Her name is Mrs. Fireworks.

Mrs Becker says, “Hey! I know you!”
“I know you too, from space,” says Mrs. Fireworks.
Mr Gooey transforms back into the box, and all the
children get in and they teleport to the hall at Corpus
Christi Primary School.
The students in third class are playing basketball in the
hall when suddenly the box full of children and aliens
lands in the middle of the floor. Max throws the basketball
at Mrs. Fireworks, she falls over and nearly destroys the
entire school.
“This has been a crazy day,” says Max.
All the children are screaming in fright. Ellie always
gets nervous when lots of people are screaming. She
shapeshifts into a fox on a wheel, finally revealing her
secret.
“Why didn’t you tell me this?! You’re so cute!” shouts
Carter. “Will you marry me?!”
They promise to marry in Corpus Christi Primary School
in the future and live happily ever after.

Fergal’s Halloween

Chapter One: Happy and Scary Story
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Fergal. He was
in Corpus Christi Primary School, learning with his best
friend, Emma.
The bell rang, school was over and his mammy, Susan,
was waiting outside in the yard. They headed home and
there was a big pink box with a bow on it outside.
“Who’s this for?!” said Fergal, surprised.
“I don’t know. Why don’t you open it?” his mammy
replied.
Fergal flung off the top and his mammy said “SURPRISE!”
A puppy jumped out! It was a sausage dog. Fergal hugged
the dog and said, “Thank you so much, Mammy.”
Fergal took another look in the big pink box because he
heard wriggling. From the corner of his eye, he saw the
box moving. He looked in the box and saw four more

happy puppies wagging their tails inside. There were
three girls and two boys in total. He called his best friend
Emma and he told her about the puppies. She came
straight over to play with the puppies.
“They’re so cute!” Emma said. “Can I keep one? I’ll give
you €100.”
“No thank you, I want to keep the puppies together,”
Fergal replied.
It was Emma’s birthday in two weeks’ time. Fergal
wanted to surprise her with a puppy then.
Later that night, Fergal went to bed and he brought the
puppies with him. He heard a screeching noise and ran
down to his mammy Susan.
“I heard a squeaking noise in my room!” Fergal said,
sounding scared.
“It’s okay, it’s probably just the puppies crying,” she
responded.
Fergal went back up to his room, still scared. He made a
pillow fort and snuggled up with the puppies. He heard
the screeching again.
He thought it was coming from outside his window at
the back of his house. Fergal looked out the window,
which overlooks Dalley’s Field. To his horror, he saw the
banshee.
Fergal was terrified. She had long black hair, long sharp
nails and she was wearing a long, black ripped dress.

She scraped her rotten fingernails down the window and
started to climb up the drainpipe.
Chapter Two: The Call of the Banshee
*FLASHBACK*
When walking home from school one day, Fergal and
Emma found a comb lying on the ground. They had just
passed the Northside Family Resource Centre when
Emma said, “I dare you to pick up that comb!”
“I’ll do it. I’m not scared of the banshee,” said Fergal.
When Fergal got home he heard a horrifying screech. He
thought it was only in his head though. He was in shock
and he flung the comb across his room and then it landed
on the windowsill. The comb was round and rusty with
paint peeling off around some old letters on it. It seemed
to spell out the surname M-C-N-A-M-A-R-A…
*FLASH FORWARD*
The puppies started barking and Fergal woke up startled
from his flashback. He realised he was back to reality.
He noticed the hand creeping up the wall. He was
flabbergasted and his heart was pounding.
In that moment, Fergal heard the ding-dong of the
doorbell downstairs.
He screamed in a horrifying voice, “MAAAAAAM!!”
Fergal’s mammy had fallen asleep on the couch watching

TV. His dad wasn’t in the house because he’d gone to
Susie Buns to get milk and some jellies. Susie Buns gave
out free sweets on Halloween.
It was 8.27 p.m when Fergal’s dad returned and saw
Emma on the doorstep, waiting.
Fergal shouted once again for his mam.
Fergal’s dad and Emma went around to the back door and
saw the banshee just below Fergal’s window. His father
passed out from the sight of her!
Fergal didn’t hear his mammy answer, so he ran down
the stairs. He saw her lying there and he checked her
heart. It wasn’t beating and there was no pulse…
He suddenly realised that she must have heard the
banshee sing her horrible wail…
Fergal was so devastated that his mammy seemed to be
dead. Then he remembered the comb and how his mammy
told him to never pick up a comb off the ground. He ran
back upstairs, grabbed the comb and tried to break it, but
it was embedded with dark magic!
Chapter 3: The Prank That Went Too Far
Fergal was in his room with the comb when he heard
mumbling downstairs and out the back window. He went
downstairs. His mammy was still on the couch and still
wasn’t moving. He went outside and the mumbling was
getting louder with every step he took…

Fergal’s dad was nowhere to be seen. He walked towards
the noise, which was coming from Corpus Christi Primary
School. He saw another comb on the road. He picked it
up and it had a different surname on it. This one spelled
M-A-C-K.
Just outside the school, Fergal saw a key that unlocked
the front door of the school. He felt scared as he kept
hearing the mumbling, screeching and wailing and it was
getting really loud.
Inside the school, Fergal took a turn and walked halfway
down the hall. The mumbling was so loud he heard it
in front of him and behind him. He ran into the big PE
hall to hide. To his horror, the mumbling was behind the
curtains on the big stage and it was louder than ever.
The curtains flew open - but there was nothing there!
Fergal was standing on the stage when suddenly the
banshee dropped down behind him. Fergal was scared
and ran out the side door and into the garden. He saw his
mammy, his dad and the four puppies.
The banshee followed him and his heart was still racing.
The banshee pulled off her mask and it was Emma. She
started to laugh “HAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Fergal said,“I thought you were a real banshee!”
Emma replied, “No, it’s really me. Happy Halloween!”
And then, an actual banshee popped up behind them.
The banshee had thought that Emma was a real banshee

and got really angry that she wasn’t. Fergal said, “Ha, ha
really funny!”
Fergal’s dad said, “Look behind you, that banshee is
real!”
“RUN!” his mammy shouted.
Fergal said, “Mam! Are you okay?”
“Yes I am, but we all need to run!” said Mammy.
Fergal, his parents, Emma and the four puppies hurried
to the bus stop. They got the 666 bus to the city. Emma
said, “The banshee is behind the bus - she’s chasing us!”
They got off the bus at the River Shannon. They were
heading towards King John’s Castle. Suddenly, Cara the
sea monster jumped out of the river and ate the banshee!
They all said “Phew!”
Emma said, “I’m glad that’s over!”
Fergal said, “Mam, where’s the fifth puppy?”
Mam replied, “I don’t know. He must have ran away!”
They saw the puppy walking toward King John’s Castle
and they followed him there.

Chapter 4: Does White Magic Save Us?
Fergal saw that the fifth puppy had both combs in his
mouth. Fergal caught up with the puppy and tried to take
the combs from his mouth, but the puppy pulled away
and ran into the castle, up into one of the towers. Fergal
followed the puppy and the gate closed behind him.
The comb that spelled M-A-C-K started to glow and
a good spirit floated up out of it. The good spirit went
to the gates and opened them. The good spirit looked
just like the banshee, except she had golden hair and a
white dress. It was the banshee’s sister!
The puppy still had the other comb with the dark magic
in his mouth. His eyes started to glow red and his head
started to move up and down. He started barking which
brought the banshee out of the sea monster and up the
walls and into the tower.
“Where were you, Hope? I thought I got rid of you the last
time” the banshee shouted.
“You didn’t get rid of me, Divil, I’m too strong,” said
Hope, the good spirit.
As the two sisters were arguing, Fergal looked around and
the four other puppies were floating in the air. Some of
them were in white clouds, and some were in dark clouds.
Just then, the fifth puppy with the dark magic comb in
its mouth drops it. He pushed Divil the banshee out the
window and she fell back into the river, but she grabbed
him and he fell down with her. They landed in the river
with a big splash.

Fergal handed Hope, the good spirit, back her comb. She
strummed the teeth of her comb with her finger, which
caused Cara the sea monster to come and save the puppy
in the river. Hope then took the dark magic comb and
snapped it in half.
Hope whispered, “Now she’s gone forever...”
The rest of the puppies fell to the ground softly, from the
clouds. Fergal and Emma checked to see if they were ok
and they were thankfully uninjured.
“THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!” exclaimed Emma. She
opened the box but didn’t notice that the puppy’s eyes
were glowing red….
EPILOGUE
The next Halloween, Fergal looked in a mirror and saw
Hope and Divil behind him, in his reflection. He turns
around and…
Hope and Divil’s mother, who was half banshee and half
spirit, appeared and she said, “I’m so sorry about my
daughters, thank you for finding my combs.”
She picked up the pieces of the broken comb and the
glowing comb. She then spotted another comb in one of
the puppy’s mouths and took that too. She disappeared
suddenly again.
The castle started to shake. Emma said, “It’s time to go,
don’t forget it’s my birthday soon.”
Fergal’s Dad said, “Let’s get on the bus and go get
something to eat.”
They went to the bus stop, and as the bus approached,
Emma said, “Guys, it’s safe now, it’s not 666 anymore,
it’s back to normal, look.” The bus number had changed
back to 303. They got off the bus at Johnsey’s shop and
went to Sequoia for a takeaway.
Two weeks later, it was Emma’s birthday. Fergal gave
Emma a present. It was one of the puppies.

Big Mama & the Bigs

Chapter One: Big Mac and Big Man
Once upon a time, Big Man woke up in his bed. When he
got dressed, he went to Cosgrave Park to call for his friend
Penaldo. Penaldo got his soccer ball before he went out to
join his friend.
Big Man, whose greatest fear was vegetables, didn’t
realise that the soccer ball was actually made of lettuce
and cabbage! Big Man then realised that even Penaldo’s
house was made of vegetables.
Penaldo was a VEGAN! Big Man felt betrayed and scared.
“How could you?” he said. He realised he had the
vegetable ball in his hands and he kicked it away furiously.
Big Man’s eyes turned red from crying.
He went to the nearest McDonald’s. He ordered an ice
cream and the worker explained that the ice cream
machine was broken. He looked behind him and saw
his mam there. Her name was Big Mama. His Big Mama

dragged him out of the place - she was agitated because
he had left the house without telling her that morning.
Outside, a bird flew over Big Man’s head with a piece of
cabbage in its mouth. The cabbage fell out of the bird’s
mouth and landed in Big Man’s mouth. He threw up as
he felt so disgusted by cabbage and it landed all over Big
Mama!
Big Mama was furious and said, “You need to move out
and find a job, Big Man!”
Big Man was walking home, passing the Treaty Stone
feeling angry because his best friend had lied to him.
He saw an ad in a local shop for a cleaner. The job pays
€50,000 a week. Big Man was excited!
With this much money, he can save enough to buy his
own McDonald’s and fix the ice cream machine once and
for all. He sprinted to the address and knocked on the
door.
Penaldo’s mother, Missaldo, opened the door. Big Man’s
mouth dropped open. Big Man asked,“What are you
doing here?!”
Missaldo said, “Penaldo plays for Moyross but got
scouted by Treated United who have a big academy. We
bought this big house with the money.”
Big Man then asked, “Did you advertise for the cleaner?”
“Yes!” Missaldo replied. “Why?”
“Can I have the job please?” asked Big Man.

“Yes, but don’t break my vase while you are trying to
squeeze through the door!” she told him.
Penaldo was upstairs playing FIFA37, with his little
brother Mesialdo when Big Man went in to clean the
room. Penaldo screamed, “What are you doing here?”
Big Man answered, “I’m here for the cleaning job, to earn
money to buy my own McDonald’s.”
“I don’t care” Penaldo replied and made a tackle on him.
Big Man said, “When I buy McDonald’s, I’ll take the
vegan options off the menu if you continue on like that.”
Penaldo apologised for tackling Big Man. Big Man said,
“I forgive you because you’re my friend.”
to come now! Our son’s McDonald’s has been knocked
down.”
Big Daddy wanted to help save the day. His pants didn’t
fit him correctly, he had dark hair and a black cape. He
rang the ambulance to rescue Big Mama, but there was
no signal, so Big Daddy had to try and rescue her himself.
Big Man and Penaldo were trying to help Big Mama, but
they couldn’t. Big Mama wasn’t scared though, even
though she was stuck on top of a crane.
Big Daddy had an idea. He went to the Adoption Centre
and adopted a baby. His name is BIG SUPERHERO BABY.
He knew he was the only one who could save Big Mama.
They decided not to go Roy Keane mode on each other.
And they decided that they were going to buy McDonald’s
50-50 and when Plenaldo was away playing soccer, Big
Man would run it and the rest of the time Plenaldo would
run it.
They went away to Ballybunion in the caravan for a week
to celebrate their new venture. When they came back,
they saw that their McDonald’s had been knocked down
by a crane!
Chapter Two: The Big Mac Attack
Both Penaldo and Big Man were so shocked, they called
Big Mama and she jumped on top of the crane!
Big Mama was 99! She rang Big Daddy. “We need you

While they were flying together across Ballynanty Road
to rescue Big Mama, Big SuperHero Baby screamed, “I’m
going to save you, Big Mama!’
Big SuperHero Baby then passed a unicorn named
Savannah. He asked the unicorn to help him save Big
Mama. Big Mama jumped on the unicorn’s back but her
weight caused the unicorn to spiral out of control.
The unicorn’s horn fell off and landed deep into the River
Shannon. It lost all of its magical powers. Big Mama
couldn’t swim but she could float…
Meanwhile Penaldo and Big Man were screaming, “My
McDonald’s!”
They saw Big Mama struggling in the water and Mesialdo
going towards her. They said, “We love you, McDonald’s,
but we need to help Big Mama. We will fix you later.”
Mesialdo was the fastest swimmer in the world so he
went to rescue Big Mama. He saved her by pushing her
towards Shannon Rowing Club then they went back to
the ruins of McDonald’s, where they found Big Daddy
and Big SuperHero Baby fixing the building.
When they had fixed McDonald’s, they had some ice
cream to celebrate - Katchoa, Vanilla and Oreo.
They went home then, but Savannah was angry. She was
still in the Shannon and nobody had helped her out of the
water, but she had found her horn.
She made a plan for revenge against them. She put
broccoli in a blender and hid it under the Oreo on the
Katchoa ice cream. She flew to Big Man’s house.
“This is my special ice-cream. I hope you like it because
everyone does,” she said.
“Mmm,” Big Man said. “This looks good.” He took a big
lick and then vomited everywhere “Ugh! What did you
put in this?!”
Savannah answered slyly, “Just oreo and mint.”
Meanwhile, Big SuperHero Baby was making a TikTok
video in the library when he saw Savannah flying toward
the library in a fury. Big Mama was with him playing
FIFA15 on her phone.
Savannah thought that her best revenge of all would be
to knock down Watch House Cross Library, because that
was their favourite place in Moyross.
Chapter Three: Library Chaos
In the library, Big Mama tried to read a book but she got
bored, so she threw it on the floor and whipped out her
phone instead. She started to play FIFA15 again. Big Mama
got frustrated because she couldn’t sound out the word -
D-O-G - in the graphic novel Dogman. She had spent her
school days at Nessan’s playing on her phone instead of
learning her phonics and listening to her teachers!
*FLASHBACK*

On her first day of school, Big Mama was walking down
the hallway, when a big bully tripped her up.
Jeremy the jock was a centre back in Nessan’s football
team. Jeremy was big and strong but next to Big Mama,
he looked like a stick. Jeremy had broad shoulders, a
mullet, ears like Shrek and wore the number 4 jersey.
Big Mama said “Hey, why did you do that?”
Jeremy said, “Because I can, punk, and you’re junk! I own
these halls!”
Big Mama went to Galaxy Takeaway and ordered five
large pizzas for herself after school. She wanted to feel
better….
A couple of years later, in 1973, Big Mama was still only in
third year in school. She was 65 years old!
She’d been held back for the 50th time and she was
furious! She took the 303 bus home, passing the Treaty
Stone. She had her dinner and at seven o’clock, her five
year old sister, Little Mama, went to bed.
Big Mama had a terrible idea, to cut her sister’s hair in her
sleep! She was jealous of Little Mama’s long, beautiful
hair. She cut it off and tried to make extensions of it with
Gorilla Glue.
*FLASHFORWARD*
Suddenly, Big SuperHero Baby fell on top of Big Mama and
distracted her from her video game and her flashback. She

still had one strand of long hair left and Big SuperHero
Baby pulled it off as part of a TikTok trend!
Savannah flew into the library and shot lasers from her
magical horn. She used it to call her other unicorn friend,
Yermy Yermy. Together, they both used their lasers from
their magical horns to burn down the library! There was
a red laser shining from their horns and buzzing noises
coming from the lasers.
Big Mama screamed, she took a mirror from her big nana
purse, and said, “Aha!”
She used the mirror to reflect the lasers back to the
unicorns. The unicorns dodge the lasers and flee the
scene. The library was saved!
Then Kung Foo Chong Chong flew into the Library. He
had huge wings, and could shoot beams from his hands.
Big Mama was worried because she used to bully him in
school and she was afraid that he would want revenge.
“OMG, your hair!” said Kung Foo Chong Chong.
“It was Big SuperHero Baby’s fault!” Big Mama said
disappointingly. Kung Foo Chong Chong didn’t know that
the reason Big Mama bullied him is because she actually
liked him! And Kung Foo Chong Chong felt the same way!
Kung Foo Chong Chong used his golden lasso to call
back the unicorns and harness their powers. He used the
powers to fix the damage done to the library.
Big Daddy was hiding in the opposite aisle of the library.
All of a sudden, Kung Foo Chong Chong and Big Mama
confess their feelings to each other. Big Daddy overhears
this and…
Chapter Four: The Revenge
...Big Daddy jumped out from the library aisle and kicked
Kung Foo Chong Chong. They started to wrestle each
other.
Big Daddy said in an angry voice, “YOU STOLE MY
WOMAN!”
Big Mama saw them fighting and she ran over to rip
them apart, but she couldn’t do it alone and she asked
the unicorns to help her.
The unicorns, Savannah and Yermy Yermy, used their
powers from their horns to rip them apart. Big Daddy

grabbed a book off the shelf and opened it up. A monster
appeared out of the book!
The monster is named Toomy Toomy and he was green,
small and had loads of teeth.
He said, “Big Mama is mine!” He then slapped both of
them in their faces and Big Mama ran into the monster’s
arms.
*FLASHBACK*
In 2001, Toomy Toomy from Chicken Nuggets Land
transferred to Corpus Christi Primary School where he
became good friends with Big Mama.
Back in the library, Big Mama said, “It’s been so long
since I’ve seen you!” A tear dripped from her eye. The
tear landed on the monster and magically he turned into
a charming prince.
He looked like Prince Charming - tall, with blond hair
and blue eyes. His name was Tommy and he was wearing
a green tuxedo.
Big Mama said “I haven’t seen you as a human since
2001, all those years ago!”
All of a sudden, Little Mama crawled in and she screamed,
“Where is my hair?”
Big Mama answered, “I don’t know” while she tucks her
hair into her top to hide it.

Big Man was still sick from the disgusting Katchoa ice
cream and was in hospital. A few days later, he recovered
and went to the library. Big Man decided to go to the
Sensory Room and sat on the bean bag.
A mouse came out. The mouse squeaked, “EEK-EEK-EEK!”
Andreas Mouse ran over and bit Big Man’s finger when
he tried to get up. Big Man tried to hide in the little den
and then found a secret door that leads to a room with
Big Mama tied up.
He noticed that there is a bomb on her head. She felt
scared, worried and paranoid, and she screamed
“HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!”
Big Daddy wanted revenge and put tape over her mouth
to keep her quiet. He holds her hostage for €50,000!
Big Man used his magical chicken nugget to call the full
team to help rescue Big Mama. The full team consisted
of Savannah, Yermy Yermy, Big SuperHero Baby, Kung
Foo Chong Chong, Penaldo, Mesialdo, Missaldo, Little
Mama and Tommy. They all answered the call and team
together to save Big Mama.
They all shouted “The Bigs!” with their hands together,
like a team ready for battle. Big Daddy ended up in unicorn
jail and Andreas mouse chewed the wire to defuse the
bomb.
All was well in Watch House Cross Library again. Big
Mama and Tommy end up getting married in McDonald’s
and they all lived happily ever after.

Chapter One: The Superheroes
Save the Day
Once upon a time in Thomond Primary School in 2022,
LeBron was a normal boy with a best friend called Banana
Man.
One day, they were eating chocolate Oreo cookies and
drinking milk on their break.
Suddenly, a purple rotten banana man called The
Destroyer burst into the classroom and turned LeBron
and Banana Man into superheroes!
The Destroyer started wrecking the school. LeBron tried
to scare him away using his giant basketball. He threw
the basketball and it exploded everywhere!
“What’s happening here?” said Super Banana Man.
“We have to save the city!” said LeBron.
Super Banana Man took off his banana peel face and
slapped it across The Destroyer’s face. That was his
superpower!

The Destroyer was very mad and emitted a poisonous
green fog. The mysterious fog made the other kids unable
to breathe. The kids and the superheroes ran upstairs, to
the Hub to safety.
They locked the door to the Hub behind them. The fog
followed them upstairs and seeped underneath the door.
Meanwhile, The Destroyer was still damaging everything
in his sight with his fury.
The superheroes and the kids tried to escape through the
window. LeBron used his new power, which was shooting
Nerf bullets from his hands. The Destroyer grew bigger
and bigger from the bullets.
“How can this be happening? Why aren’t our bullets
working on him?!” said LeBron. They all jumped into the
Super Van to escape The Destroyer.
They fled toward Henry Street Apartments in Limerick
City. They crawled through the air vents and into their
secret lair there. What they didn’t know was that The
Destroyer placed a tracker on the inside of Super Banana
Man’s peel when he hit him. So he was secretly following
them.
Suddenly, The Destroyer stepped on glass and cried out.
He called his team to come help him.
In the lair, there was a kind robot coming to help LeBron
and Super Banana Man. The robot teleported them all
back to Moyross and they found a treasure box under the
slide in Moyross Park.
They open it up and…

Chapter Two: The Big Fight of Fire and Ice
While they were teleporting, the tracker fell off and they
lost The Destroyer. When they opened the treasure chest,
it was full of shiny diamonds!
“OMG!” says Super Banana Man. “I’m spending this on
McDonald’s and pizza!”
Suddenly, a red dragon swooped into Moyross Park and
landed on the chest. Scar, the red dragon, breathed fire
and hit Super Banana Man with his wing. LeBron threw
the exploding basketball at the dragon, but the dragon
dodged it. He took the treasure chest in his claws and
flew back to his cave of wonders.
The Destroyer found Scar’s cave and said, “We are both
supervillains, so let’s team up!”
“Yes, indeed” says Scar. “Let’s destroy the universe
together!”
Meanwhile, back in Moyross Park, Kind Robot appeared
out of a hole in the ground. Kind Robot ripped an ice staff
out of the ground, which destroys fire. The ice staff is
inscribed: Use this to defeat Scar the dragon.
Super Banana Man, LeBron and Kind Robot then
teleported to the cave. The robot shot ice out of the staff
and Scar breathed fire back at him in his defense. A giant
explosion occurred when the fire met the ice! The cave
collapsed from the explosion. Scar and Kind Robot were
trapped in the rubble while everyone else escaped to
safety.
The Destroyer does not go back to help Scar. Scar had
been betrayed! Super Banana Man and LeBron went back
to rescue Scar and Kind Robot. They are good superheroes
and didn’t want to leave anyone behind.

Scar was angry at The Destroyer for his betrayal but
thankful to his new friends who saved him. He switched
to the good side because of this.
The Destroyer cast a spell on Kind Robot to make him evil.
Super Banana Man and LeBron notice that Kind Robot’s
eyes have turned red.
Scar gives everyone a ride on his back to King John’s
Castle to the dungeons. He locks the now Evil Robot and
The Destroyer into the dungeons.
LeBron and Super Banana Man return the diamonds to
their rightful owner in the city. The owner was so pleased,
he rewarded them with a big huge diamond. They use
the diamond to buy loads of chips and battered sausages
from Freda’s chipper.
They were sitting down and eating their food when they
heard a giant explosion. The dungeon gate suddenly flew
open against the wall, and The Destroyer emerged!
Chapter Three:
The Battle of the Battered Sausage
Super Banana Man ran for a machine gun and filled it
with battered sausages. He aimed it at The Destroyer and
shot at him, but The Destroyer dodged them all.
Meanwhile, LeBron was eating soggy chips on the curb,
watching the scrap. He finished his chips, tried to get
up to help Super Banana Man but was too bloated!
LeBron uses his echo superpower to call his mother.
“MAAAAMMMMMMM!”

In a blink of an eye, Mrs. Quandale, LeBron’s mother
hurried in with a bucket full of battered sausages. “How
are you doing, kids?”
She filled up the machine gun with battered sausages.
LeBron, who was no longer bloated, shots the gun at The
Destroyer. “Thank you, Mam, for helping us!”
LeBron dropped down a rope ladder to free Evil Robot
from the dungeon. He climbed up onto the ladder and
escaped. While he was trying to talk, one of the flying
battered sausages went into his mouth by accident.
Evil Robot swallowed the sausage and he became kind
again. His eyes turned back to green, his normal eye
colour. He took the form of a brown compost bin and
absorbed all the battered sausages.
Scar the dragon flew into the castle and makes a pact with
The Destroyer so that they will morph together to defeat
the superheroes.
Their new name is Scar The Destroyer. He wears Air
Jordans and this is his source of power. They make him
jump super high into the air.
All of a sudden, they all take the Super Van to the
schoolyard at Corpus Christi Primary School. Here the
final battle would take place in the basketball court.
Whoever scored three baskets first would win. One team
was LeBron, Super Banana Man, Kind Robot and his
mother, Mrs. Quandale. The other team was Scar The
Destroyer.
LeBron took out his explosive basketball and dunked it
into the net, and he scored first. Scar The Destroyer flew
up into the air and dunked it into the other net. Mrs.
Quandale was cheering on her son from the sideline while
freestyle dancing.
Kind Robot climbed up the pole of the hoop and dunked
the basketball, shattering the hoop into pieces. Team One
wins the final battle! Good prevails!
Scar The Destroyer lost but Mrs. Quandale felt sorry
for him and adopted him. They celebrate their victory
together in Freda’s chipper, eating battered sausages
and chips, with a can of Coke each, all satisfied.

Arthur was a legendary gunslinger from New York City,
He was having a really bad day. He was being chased by
the law for something he hadn’t done. The police were
after him for something his parents had done. The head
of the law was a police chief called Agent Miltan.
Arthur had been raised by foster parents who were
scientists who worked on mutant creatures and things.
When he was younger there had been an accident and
that’s when his friend Otto the Mutant Moldy Cheese
had been created. Otto and Arthur were best friends.
Otto had magical powers including throwing his magical
stink that could transport him and Arthur to magical
places.
Arthur was cornered by the law. Miltan said to him, ”One
day in a few years I’m going to be the head of the law
everywhere!”
Arthur felt pretty angry and scared. Otto was so scared
that he accidentally transported them with his stink to
Cashel in Tipperary, Ireland.
Arthur said, “Where is this??!!”

Otto said, “Oh, I don’t know. I meant to transport us to a
lab in Chicago.”
Arthur’s foster parents had friends in Chicago with a lab
but the problem was that Otto was out of stink and they
were stuck.
They had landed at the Rock of Cashel. Arthur with Otto
on his shoulder jumped over the wall to go down the hill
into the town and was chased by five rams with big horns.
Otto got off Arthur’s shoulder and was flying through the
air singing.
When Arthur got to the Palace Hotel he saw a man and
a woman working there and he didn’t realise that they
were his parents but they recognised him.
Arthur thought that he could achieve his dream of
becoming a spy and doing good deeds if he just stayed in
Ireland.
Meanwhile, the sheep had jumped into the swimming
pool and stole all of the floaties…

Illa the dog was at home eating ice cream from Grogan’s
in Cashel. It was her favourite flavour, mint chocolate
chip. Leah, Illa’s owner, said, “I have something to tell
you, we are going somewhere really special.”
“Please tell me!” barked Illa in excitement.
”Please don’t scream,” Leah said, “but we are going to
Disneyland.”
“Are we going on an aeroplane?” asked Illa, tucking her
tail between her legs. Illa was afraid of aeroplanes.
“I’m so sorry but we have to go on an aeroplane,” Leah
told her.
Illa ran downstairs to get a drink of water to calm herself
down. She went outside to find her friend Coco, who lived
down the street. Coco was playing in the front garden
with her dog toys when Illa came along and said, “Coco
I’m feeling really anxious. Can you help me calm down?”
“I’ve never seen you this worried before,” Coco said.
“What’s happened?”
“Okay, I’m really excited because Leah said she is going
to take me to Disneyland but we have no choice but to go
on an aeroplane.”

Just then, Leah called Illa to go for a little walk to get

It had been a nice sunny day but then it started lashing
rain. They tried to run home really fast but as they were
running Leah tripped over another dog. This dog was not
friendly!
The dog started growling at her...

get their Sunday roast.
While they were there, Jimmy saw a poster for a raffle.
The prize was two thousand acres of tillage land in
Lissaniskey, just outside Toomevara.
When Jimmy looked at the price of the ticket, he couldn’t
afford it. There were only one hundred tickets. Each ticket
cost €5,000. Jimmy thought that the only way he could
buy one of the tickets would be to sell Harvey.
Harvey said, “That Zetor is as useless as Nenagh are at
hurling. Maybe you should sell that instead.”
“I suppose so,” Jimmy replied. “I’ll throw it up on
DoneDeal this evening.”
Jimmy wanted to be a famous farmer – a famous dairy
farmer. With two thousand acres, he could start his own
line of dairy products: milk, cheese, butter, ice cream,
chocolate and cream. Then he could buy a John Deere
6930 Premium.

were in danger of going bankrupt. Everyone in the
community loved their Sunday dinners and watching the
match there. The Tipp Inn was anything but elaborate,
but it was Jimmy’s favourite place.

just wouldn’t sell…

Daisy the Dog was in the church in Roscrea, praying to
the doggie gods.
Afterwards, she went to Jumbo’s to get a spice bag. She
was walking down to the town park when she saw a man.
The man, who was called Christy, tried to rob Daisy’s
spice bag.
Daisy shouted, “Give me back my spice bag!” She tried to
bite him on the shins.
Christy bent down to give Daisy back her spice bag. He
drew back his fist and said, “I won’t hit ya.”
This time, she bit Christy on the shins and walked away
on her rear legs with the spice-bag in her mouth. The
local vet, who was called Mysterious Michael, saw Daisy
bite Christy. He captured her and put her in the van.
Mysterious Michael said, “You’re not supposed to bite
people, we might have to put you down!”
Christy stole a stop sign and put it in front of the van.
Mysterious Michael had to stop the van.
Christy said, “That’s my dog. She was just play-fighting.”

Michael said, “Tough luck!”
There was a little girl playing on her bike nearby. Christy
pushed her off the bike and took off after the van. He
started to go so fast on the bike that he was going over
the speed limit. He rode into the park, used the slide in
the park as a ramp to bunny-hop over the van, which
forced the van to stop.
The van stopped so suddenly that the doors flung open,
and Daisy jumped out. A Garda car had stopped in front
of the van. So Daisy and Christy leaped on to the bonnet
of the Garda car, jumped over and went into Dunnes.
They ran to the elevator and pressed the button but the
elevator got stuck.
Fourteen eternities later, the fire brigade broke them
out of the lift. They went to the ATM in Dunnes and got
cash because Jumbo’s doesn’t take cards. Daisy bought
Christy a spice bag to say thanks.
Daisy said, “You saved my tail!”
They went to Christy’s gaff and ate their food. Christy
said, “Y’know, I always wanted to go to space.”
Daisy replied, “That would be cool, but I’m afraid of
rockets.”
Just then there was breaking news on the TV…

“I’d love to meet Justin Bieber,” said Sparkles.
Justin the Dog said, “I like Ed Sheeran, actually. He’s way
better!”
Justin and Sparkles broke into a fight. They argued over
who was a better singer. Justin suggested that they go
to St. Mary’s National School to ask the teachers and
children who was the better singer. Whoever got the
most votes would be the best singer.
They stopped at Shake Dog for ice cream on the way to the
school. Justin got chocolate and Sparkles got strawberry.

The school was open and all of the children were lined
up. Justin and Sparkles lined up with third class. Ms.
McNamara, the teacher asked, “Why is there a cat and a
dog in my class?”
Justin said, “We need help to decide who is the best singer.
Can we do a class vote - Justin Bieber or Ed Sheeran?”
Ms. McNamara realised that the cat and dog could talk.
She said, “Of course we’ll do a class vote.”
In the classroom, the children voted and it was a tie. Both
Justin and Sparkles were furious. “We need to find a way
to find out who is better!” said Justin.
They went to sixth class to ask them to vote. Sparkles
said, “These students are so big!” Sparkles biggest fear
was getting stepped on. Sparkles was so afraid that she
felt really sweaty. She asked the teacher Ms. Breen if she
could go to the bathroom.
While Sparkles was gone, Justin asked the students who
they liked better, Ed Sheeran or Justin Bieber. They all
liked Justin Bieber better and it made Justin the dog so
angry that he head-butted the door and ran away. The
door slammed shut behind him.
Sparkles saw Justin was in the hallway. He was in a bad
mood.
“What’s wrong Justin?”
“Don’t talk to me!” said Justin.
“Fine,” replied Sparkles. They split up.
Sparkles decided to go to another school and ask them
to vote. She walked along the River Shannon but took
a wrong turn. She was lost and suddenly she heard
marching footsteps coming towards her. She was afraid
that someone was going to step on her.
Meanwhile, Justin went up to the pool room at St. Mary’s.
He played a game of pool against an SNA called Cahir. He
was losing so he jumped up on the table and scraped the
felt surface. Cahir said, “Don’t get mad. It’s just a game,
it doesn’t matter.”
Justin felt guilty for being mean to Sparkles, so he went
to look for her but couldn’t find her. Suddenly, he heard
Sparkles screaming. He ran over and gave her a hug.
“They are both the best singers,” said Justin.
They were hungry and they went to get something to eat
at Pizza Galaxy. The radio was on and they heard on the
news that both Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran were going
to perform in Ireland. Justin Bieber was going to be in
Thomond Park and Ed Sheeran was going to perform at
Croke Park in Dublin...
Chapter Two: Justin & Sparkles’
Little Adventure to Dublin
After their adventures, Sparkles and Justin decided to go to
see Scream in the Vue cinema on the Ennis Road. They got
really scared because they didn’t know it was a scary movie!
They ran out of the movie halfway through and wanted
to see a nice place, so they went to King John’s Castle.
While they were there, they saw the swords and the

cannons. They climbed to the top of the stairs and saw
the stars in the sky. Sparkles was still afraid that she
would be stepped on because the spiral staircase was
very thin and narrow.
It was nighttime and they felt hungry. They could smell
the seasoning of the soft and smooth chips from Stix,
which was next to the castle. At Stix, they hear the radio
on in the background. They hear that Ed Sheeran’s
concert is on in Dublin five hours before Justin Bieber’s
concert in Limerick on the same day!
Sparkles said, “OMG, we can go to the two concerts!”
“Wait, how are a cat and dog going to get to Dublin?”
replied Justin.
“Oh no, and what if we get stepped on? It’s a concert!!”
cried Sparkles.
“We can get the train to Dublin because there’s plenty of
space,” said Justin.
They bought two tickets that were on sale in Stix for both
concerts. They looked at the tickets and noticed that the
age limit was 18 years old.
Sparkles said, “Oh no, the age limit is 18 years!”
“Well, I’m 3 but in dog years that means I’m 21!” replied
Justin with relief.
“Oh yeah! I’m not a dog, but I’m 24 years in cat years,”
said Sparkles.
The concert day arrived and they got on the train to
Dublin. They changed at Limerick Junction and the train

got them up to Dublin quickly. They got to Croke Park
and went to the merchandise stand. There were t-shirts,
blow horns and hats and they bought them all.
They went to Hill 16 and Sparkles was still afraid someone
might stand on her. They were really enjoying it and were
dancing to his songs, such as “Bad Habits” and “Shape
of You.”
Ed Sheeran announced from the stage, “Ladies and
gentlemen, I have two special guests here today!”
The audience moved forward so they could see who the
special guests were. The lights were a kind of greenish
colour and formed into a spaceship shape.
Suddenly, the spotlight from the stage landed on Sparkles
and Justin in the crowd...
Chapter Three:
Sparkles & Justin’s Crazy Adventure
Sparkles and Justin were terrified because they weren’t
expecting themselves to be the special guests. Ed
Sheeran called them up to the stage.
“Sparkles and Justin come up and sing a song with me!”
said Ed.
Ed started to sing “Perfect.” Justin knew all the words
but Sparkles didn’t. Sparkles was extremely embarrassed
and she ran off the stage.
Meanwhile, Justin was having such a great time singing
with Ed that he didn’t realise that Sparkles had gone.
Sparkles slipped through all of the security and got on
the Luas. She hid in the clothes section in Sports Direct in
Dundrum Town Centre.
When Ed and Justin finished the song, Justin looked
around and couldn’t see Sparkles. Justin said, “Look, Ed I
have to go. I have to find Sparkles!”
“Stay!” exclaimed Ed. “One more song. Never mind, you
can find Sparkles in a while.”
“Fine,” replied Justin, “but only one more song.”
They sang the song “Photograph” and the crowd went
wild. After the song was over, Justin said, “Ed, seeing as
I sang another song with you, will you help me to find
Sparkles?”
“Yeah!” said Ed.
“Hurry up, we need to find Sparkles before the Justin
Bieber concert in Limerick,” said Justin.
“What do you mean a Justin Bieber concert?” asked Ed.
“I don’t like that guy. He tried to steal one of my songs a
couple of months ago.”
Ed and Justin Bieber were jealous of each other.
At the Luas stop, they saw a scarf belonging to Sparkles.
Justin asked the Luas driver, “Where did the cat get off?”
The driver replied, “I can’t quite remember, I think it
might have been Dublin Zoo.” The Luas driver fainted
when he saw the dog he was talking to was with Ed
Sheeran.
The people on the Luas asked Ed for his autograph and

for him to sing a song. He said, “No, I’m sorry - I’m too
busy, I’m in a rush! And I’m too stressed out to sing.”
At Dublin Zoo they asked the lady at the desk to make an
announcement. “Could Sparkles the cat please come to
the desk?”
After a while, a brown and white cat came to the desk.
“Hi, I’m Sparkles!”
Ed and Justin freaked out. It was the wrong cat!
“Do you know where there is another cat called Sparkles,
a white cat?” asked Justin.
“Sorry, I never heard of one.” replied the cat.
Meanwhile, the real Sparkles had left Dundrum and had
gone to look for some new friends at the Zoo because she
was lonely. Justin and Ed saw a shadow running past the
gate.
Justin said to Ed, “I think that was Sparkles.” They ran
out and called after her, “Sparkles!”
Sparkles was being chased by a tiny and friendly
chihuahua, so she didn’t hear them. She decided to get
on the train at Heuston Station and go back home to
Limerick.
Disaster happened - she had lost her train ticket! As the
barriers were about to close, she leaped through them
and landed in a rich woman’s handbag.

The woman had a seat in first class. When the woman
reached down for her lipstick she was surprised to find a
cat. “OHHH MYYY! Where did you come from?” cried the
woman.
Sparkles started gagging and threw up a hair-ball on the
woman’s lap. The woman jumped up and Sparkles ran
through the train and hid in the toilets.
In the meantime, Ed and Justin were trying to rent a
Lamborghini and drive to Limerick. Justin said, “Wait a
minute, there will be loads of traffic and red lights on the
road to Limerick.”
Ed was pure calm. “We’ll just take my helicopter.”
“We should have thought of that first,” said Justin. “How
long will it take to get to Limerick on a helicopter?”
“Forty-three minutes,” replied Ed.
Ed got on the phone and his helicopter was there in two
minutes. The helicopter landed on the top of the Absolute
Hotel. Ed Sheeran had booked a suite there.
They left the hotel to look for Sparkles but stopped at
Wok To Go at Arthur’s Quay for a spice box first.
Sparkles was already there, eating a three-in-one.
“Oh!” said Justin. “There’s Sparkles!”
Justin and Ed walked over the Sparkles and said, “Where
have you been?”

Sparkles replied, “I ran away because I didn’t know the
song and then I got lost. I just decided to come home
because I didn’t know where you were.”
“Thank goodness you’re safe,” said Ed.
They decided to go back to Ed Sheeran’s suite at the
Absolute Hotel to get ready for the Justin Bieber concert.
Ed said, “Maybe it’s better if I don’t go…”
Chapter Four:
Sparkles’ Wish Comes True
Justin said to Ed, “Please, please come with us.”
Sparkles said, “It will be different without you.”
“I’ll think about it,” replied Ed.
“Don’t let them in!” he shouted. Justin Bieber tripped
and fell.
The security guard said, “Quick, Ed, I’ll let you and your
friends in if you give me your autograph.”
Ed Sheeran said, “Of course I’ll give you my autograph.”
They skated in at the speed of light and tried to blend in
with the crowd. Unfortunately, the crowd recognised Ed
Sheeran and tackled him to the ground for his autograph.
Justin Bieber found them. He shouted, “You ruined my
night and now I can’t do my concert because of you!”
Ed said, “Well, you’re the one who tried to steal my song.”
The crowd gasped in shock. Everyone went silent.
Sparkles and Justin rented roller skates from Arthur’s
Quay.
Ed said, “I’ll go with you but roller skating is my biggest
fear.”
Sparkles said, ”It’s okay, we will teach you!”
Ed agreed and they put all of their shoes in a bag on his
back. Off they went and Ed only crashed into a wall twice
but he was okay.
Sparkles was afraid that they wouldn’t be let in to
Thomond Park with their roller skates. Security was going
to make an exception for Ed Sheeran when suddenly they
saw Justin Bieber come running down to the gate.

“B-b-b-b-b-but ...” stuttered Justin.
Sparkles said, “All you’ve been doing is fighting and you
have ruined MY night and my greatest wish was to meet
Justin Bieber!”
Justin the dog said, “Look what you’ve done to my
friend.”
Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber both felt terrible. Ed went
after Sparkles and Justin the dog and said he was sorry.
Justin said to Ed, “You need to make it up with Justin
Bieber.”
Justin replied, “Don’t worry that won’t happen, I’ll look
after you.”
They went up on stage and were given a microphone to
share. They both said, “Both of our wishes have come
true!”
Afterwards, Justin Bieber adopted Sparkles and Ed
Sheeran adopted Justin and sometimes they visited each
other in the People’s Park in Limerick.
Just then Justin Bieber came out on stage and sang an
apology song called “Sorry.”
Is it too late now to say sorry,
I know I let you down,
But is it too late to say sorry?
Then Ed came upon stage and he sang it back to Justin.
The crowd was clapping and cheering. Sparkles and
Justin were crying happy tears.
Justin Bieber told the crowd, “We have two special guests
here tonight! Can Sparkles and Justin come up here?”
Ed said, “Yes, c’mon up!”
Justin the dog held out his paw and said to Sparkles, “Do
you want to come up?”
Sparkles was feeling scared and nervous. “What if I get
stepped on?”
