Meet the
Scottish spinners
Four intrepid cyclists are about
to take on the challenge of riding
the North Coast 500 in just five
days. The NC500
is a 516-mile
circular route
around the
very top of
Scotland
If you would like to sponsor Charlie and

starting and finishing at
Inverness.
It is a classic route known
as the “Route 66” of Scotland
following the rugged coastline
of the most northern part of the
Scottish Highlands. Charlie, Kirbs,
Jords and Az aim to complete this
mammoth challenge in just 5 days
covering an average of over 100
miles a day.
The route will include over
10,000 metres of mountain
climbs including the renowned
Bealach na Bà, this is one of the
most challenging parts, a steep
mountain pass rising to a height
of 626 metres with gradients of
up to 20%, this is a true test of
endurance. The descent is as
challenging as the ascent.
We are really pleased they are
taking on this challenge in aid of
Oakhaven and wish them
all the best.
