The Greater Houston Builders
Association (GHBA) welcomes you to
the Houston Build Expo! Our region
has one of the fastest growing housing
markets in the country and the GHBA is the
largest home builders’ association in Texas.
GHBA’s more than 1,600 member companies
not only consist of residential home builders,
but also residential land developers,
remodelers, engineers, subcontractors, and
vendors, all affiliated with the home building
industry.
But why should you become a GHBA

Strength in Numbers:
3-in-1 Membership
When you join the GHBA, you also become a
member of the Texas Association of Builders
(TAB) and the National Association of Home
Builders (NAHB). This benefit brings members
the best of all worlds — local networking and
resources, along with access to invaluable
state and national information and privileges.
TAB has nearly 10,000 members across
the state. NAHB has 140,000 members
nationwide.

including Operation Finally Home and
HomeAid Houston.

shortages, GHBA has worked to build

lose students in homebuilding education
programs to other industries. In 2022,
Houston became home to the BuildStrong
Academy, powered by the Home Builders
Institute, where students can learn skills
to gain employment in construction jobs
for FREE. GHBA has also created a free
job board for members to post their open
positions at www.ghba.org/careers-inconstruction.
