TOM DE DORLODOT, PARAPENTISTE
Parapentiste professionnel et éco-aventurier,
Tom de Dorlodot et son équipe, qui comprend
le photographe John Stapels, sont restés un
mois à Madagascar, profitant des paysages
spectaculaires, battant le record de distance
de parapente et nouant des liens avec les
villageois.
Après avoir pris la route vers le sud en
direction d’Antsirabe, ils sont partis à la
découverte de la région de Tsaranoro pour
voler au-dessus des grandes montagnes. Ils
ont ensuite continué vers Toliara et passé du
temps sur la côte. Leurs vols spectaculaires ont
offert à l’équipe des points de vue magnifiques
sur Madagascar et ont beaucoup amusé
les villageois. Un des guides locaux a vécu
l’expérience de sa vie lors d’un vol en tandem
et l’aventure unique d’un déplacement écoresponsable,
avec pour seul carburant les
courants d’air.biplace.

Professional paraglider and eco-adventure
seeker, Tom de Dorlodot and his team including
photographer, John Stapels, spent a month in
Madagascar, experiencing spectacular views,
breaking the paragliding distance record – and
connecting with the local villagers.
Travelling south to Antsirabe they journeyed
to the Tsaranoro area to fly the big mountains
continuing down to Tuliara spending some
time on the coast. Their spectacular flights not
only gave the team stunning bird's eye views of
Madagascar, but also provided the villagers with
entertainment, giving one local guide the ride
of his life on a tandem flight - and a taste of the
ultimate in eco-friendly travel, powered purely by
currents of air.
