Filiou [EC]) PROGRESS DURING 2005 We have summarized 2005 activi ties and progress made with the many projects in an addendum to this ab breviated Annual Report. Two forms of supplemental information are avail able from our website (http://hydpark. ca.sandia.gov/ieaframe.html) for those wishing to know more details of recent Task 17 progress: 1. A collection of onepage 2005 Progress Reports for most of the proj ects listed above. 2. An extensive list of more than 800 publications, presentations, and patents resulting from Task 17 activities for the period of 20012005. Virtually all of the publications are available in the open literature. This information can be downloaded Work continued on a broad front, ing project activities during 2005. Task 17 targets were not fully met, but good, practical, and fundamental progress was made. Task 17 Experts provided a storage publications and presentations in the area of hydrides and carbon. IEA/DOE/SNL HYDRIDE INFORMATION CENTER A series of hydride databases was created in 1995 under Task 12 and continues, with periodic updating, under Task 17 (http://hydpark.ca.sandia.gov). These widely used databases are free and open to the public. They contain extensive information on hydriding materials, properties, and applications. Access to the original sources of all the data is provided by an extensive Refer ence database. The hydride databases are in need of substantial updating.
