Conversion kit
As a speciality, we offer a conversion kit,
which can transform the 60mm bipod mortar
easily into a commando mortar within 2 minutes.
The conversion kit consists of a handgrip with
trigger and baseplate, an aiming device and
carrying belt. In the Commando version,
it can be used up to charge 3, although,
for easy handling, firing is recommended
up to charge 2 only.

The division of range scale (default: charge 0,
1 and 2 for Hirtenberger HE Mk2, charge 1
and 2 for Hirtenberger ILL Mk2 and a mils scale)
can be adjusted also to other types of mortar bombs.

Barrel and breech cap
The forged barrel made form high-strength
special steel has a smooth bore.
The barrel of the M6H mortar is additionally
fixed between bundles to prevent it from
sliding at extreme loads. Pre-adjustment of
elevation is possible due to four different
pre-set positions.The muzzle end is tapered
on the inside to facilitate loading of bombs.
The breech cap seals the barrel at the rear
and serves as bearing of the barrel in the
base plate. A slanting threaded hole with
tapered sealing face is provided for holding
the firing pin. Due to its inclined position,
the firing pin with partially hardened point
can be replaced in all mortar positions or
retracted in case of misfire.
Bipod
The newly designed bipod carries the barrel
clamp, the gears and the shock absorbers,
which have been enlarged for better damping
in extreme conditions. The elevating gear
together with the other adjusting gears
constitutes an optimal ergonomic solution.
The results are: easy handling during
employment and aiming, easy training
of personnel and trouble-free operation
on all types of terrain. All gears are
sealed against dust and water.
Base plate
The base plate is drop-forged and made
of a high-strength aluminium alloy with
reinforcing ribs. The design combines
low weight with high stability so that the
base plate is able to withstand highest
impact stresses.
M6H
60mm MORTAR
The M6H mortar has been redesigned from the standard version to satisfy
the needs of Special Forces. For a quick setup in position, no special
bedding is required as the recoil will be absorbed by a specially designed
damping system. Like the M6 mortar, the M6H features high firing capacity,
high accuracy and quick and easy operation.
