Un veneziano alla corte Moghul nel XVII secolo
La Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro, nella sua sede
di Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, presenta un importante
progetto espositivo che racconta l'avventura
umana e l'atipico viaggio di Manucci attraverso
tutto il suo lascito.
La mostra raccoglie per la prima volta l'intera sua
eredità, costituita non solo dal Libro Rosso e dal
Libro Nero, ma anche da due preziosi manoscritti
provenienti da importanti istituzioni europee.
Si affi anca la mostra di NIKOS ALIAGAS. Regards
Vénitiens, un corpus di immagini del fotografo
francese di origini greche realizzate durante la
recente residenza artistica in fondazione.

quest’ultima realizzati dall’architetto Carlo Scarpa,
questa esposizione presenta i dieci progetti
vincitori della prima edizione di un concorso internazionale
ideato per offrire una inedita riflessione
allo spazio di ingresso interpretato nei suoi
molteplici collegamenti, accezioni e funzioni.

Architettura e Natura fanno da fi lo conduttore
nel percorso di questa mostra veneziana della
fotografa francese Françoise Jeudy,
Inserita nello spazio del Multimedial Laboratory
Art Conservation lungo la Fondamenta della Misericordia
a Cannaregio, l’esposizione presenta
una trentina di immagini suddivise in cinque serie
a tema: dalle vedute di Singapore fi no ad una
originale visione di Venezia: dal 5 al 28 maggio.

• NICOLÒ MANUCCI, the Marco Polo
of India. A Venetian at the Mughal
court in the 17th century
The Golden Tree Foundation presents
an important exhibition project at its
headquarters in Palazzo Vendramin
Grimani, recounting Manucci’s human
adventure and atypical journey,
through his whole bequest.
This exhibition gathers his entire legacy
for the first time, consisting not only of
the Red Book and the Black Book, but
also of two precious manuscripts which
are present thanks to the collaboration between
the Paris Bibliothèque Nationale de France, the
Berlin State Library and the Venice Marciana Library.

The exhibition of NIKOS ALIAGAS Regards Vénitiens,
a corpus of images by the French photographer
of Greek origins (Paris, 1969) is inserted.

Simone Fattal and Petrit Halilaj & Álvaro Urbano
The series of exhibitions curated by TBA21–Academy,
dedicated to the relationship between man
and the sea, continues in the venues of Ocean
Space, located at the former church of San
Lorenzo, in Castello.
Inspired by the "Sea and Fog" poem by Etel
Adnan, this new project curated by Barbara
Casavecchia sees the encounter between the
monumental ceramic and glass sculptures of this
American-Lebanese artist and the new installation
co-commissioned by TBA21–Academy and
Audemars Piguet Contemporary.

Photographs by Françoise Jeudy
Architecture and Nature are the leitmotif of this
Venetian exhibition by Françoise Jeudy, a French
photographer from Strasbourg.
Set within the Multimedial Laboratory Art Conservation
venue along the Misericordia quay in
Cannaregio, the exhibition presents about thirty
images divided into five thematic series: from its
views of Singapore to portraits of the different
ages of life, up to an original vision of Venice
viewed through its architectural lines: from 5 to
28 May.
