ACADEMIC REGALIA<br />
Our graduates are wearing the Kente cloth stole adorning the gown that was<br />
hand woven in the West African country <strong>of</strong> Ghana.<br />
The stole represents not only a proud heritage, but also the achievement <strong>of</strong> our graduates.<br />
The sank<strong>of</strong>a symbol on the front <strong>of</strong> the stole represents the importance <strong>of</strong> remembering your past.<br />
Faculty members march in traditional black robes and hood signifying the highest academic degree<br />
earned. Colors on the inside <strong>of</strong> the hood represent the colors <strong>of</strong> the school conferring the degree,<br />
while the velvet edging on the hood signifies the field <strong>of</strong> endeavor.<br />
