Category Possible Values Meaning<br />

Length limit LIMIT NONE <strong>CP</strong> selects files for printing regardless of the<br />

number of records.<br />

LIMIT nnnnnnnnnn <strong>CP</strong> only selects spool files for printing that are less<br />

than or equal to the specified number of records.<br />

The spool file record number is the number of<br />

copies multiplied by the size of the file.<br />

printers.<br />

FLASH name Printer uses the specified forms overlay negative,<br />

which is from 1 to 4 characters long.<br />

Note: FLASH only appears for 3800 printers.<br />

Image library IMAGE imagelib Printer uses the specified system image library file,<br />

which contains the load images (character sets,<br />

FCBs, graphic character modifications, or copy<br />

modifications) used for printing files <strong>and</strong> separator<br />

pages.<br />

Character set CHARS chars Printer uses the specified character set, which is<br />

from 1 to 4 characters long, when printing the<br />

separator page.<br />

FCB FCB name For impact printers: printer uses the specified FCB<br />

when printing the file or the separator page. For<br />

3800 printers: the FCB is the number of lines per<br />

inch.<br />

Note: FCB does not appear for 1403-type printers.<br />

3800 load checks HOLD Printer puts spool files causing 3800 load checks in<br />

system HOLD status.<br />

PURGE Printer deletes spool files causing 3800 load<br />

checks.<br />

Note: HOLD <strong>and</strong> PURGE only appear for 3800<br />

printers.<br />

Lines per page LPP Defines the number of lines for file separator pages<br />

on the printer.<br />
