1 You can specify each keyword (PRODID or STATE) only once.<br />

QUERY PRODUCT<br />

Use QUERY PRODUCT to display information regarding the PRODUCT statements<br />

defined to the system in the system configuration file at IPL <strong>and</strong> defined using the<br />

SET PRODUCT comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

PRODID ALL<br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> to display information about all product IDs defined to the system. This<br />

is the default.<br />

PRODID vmses_prodid<br />

is the identifer used by <strong>VM</strong>SES/E to install <strong>and</strong> service the given product.<br />

vmses_prodid must be a 7 or 8 character identifier.<br />

STATE ALL<br />

tells the system to display the associated product information regardless of the<br />

current state.<br />

STATE ENABLED<br />

displays information about the product IDs that are enabled on the system.<br />

STATE DISABLED<br />

displays information about product IDs that are explicitly disabled on the<br />

system.<br />

1. QUERY PRODUCT comm<strong>and</strong>s gathers information about the current<br />

PRODUCT statements defined to the system. Although this information may be<br />

contained in the system configuration file, it may have been changed with a<br />

SET PRODUCT comm<strong>and</strong> since that time.<br />

2. The output from QUERY PRODUCT is sorted by product ID from lowest to<br />

highest.<br />

3. QUERY PRODUCT is not intended to be a programming interface. Programs<br />

requiring enablement data should use DIAGNOSE code X'27C'.<br />
