identifies the sequence number for the file on the printer or punch.<br />

CL c<br />

is the spool file class.<br />

typ<br />

shows the device type that originally produced the spool file. The type can be<br />

RDR, PRT, CON, DMP, or SYS.<br />

If you are using the TO userid option with the CLOSE comm<strong>and</strong>, the following<br />

response is sent to you <strong>and</strong> to the operator receiving the file (if that user is active<br />

1. If an external security manager is installed on your system, you may not be<br />

authorized to transfer a spool file to another user with the CLOSE TO<br />

comm<strong>and</strong>. For additional information, contact your security administrator.<br />

2. In the response sent to the operator receiving the file, spd1 <strong>and</strong> spd2 will be in<br />

the reverse order of that shown in the following response.<br />

indicates the spool file queue. If you are transferring a file to another virtual<br />

machine, this field indicates the queue on which the file originated. If you are<br />

receiving a file from another virtual machine, this field indicates the file queue to<br />

which the file has been added.<br />

spd1<br />

identifies the spool ID of the file assigned when the comm<strong>and</strong> is issued.<br />

TO userid<br />

indicates the user to whom the file has been sent.<br />

FROM userid<br />

indicates the user sending the file. If the PURGE option is used with the<br />

CLOSE comm<strong>and</strong>, this field is replaced by **** PURGED **** to indicate that<br />

the file has been deleted.<br />

PUN<br />

indicates the spool file queue. If you are transferring a file to another virtual<br />

machine, this field indicates the queue to which the file has been added. If you<br />

are receiving a file from another virtual machine, this field indicates the file<br />

queue on which the file originated.
