QUERY MONITOR<br />

Use QUERY MONITOR to display the current profile information for monitor.<br />

ALL<br />

requests a display of all settings <strong>and</strong> information about <strong>CP</strong> monitoring. This<br />

includes both event <strong>and</strong> sample monitoring. This is the default.<br />

BLock<br />

requests a display of the current number of 4 KB pages of the saved segment<br />

that are accumulated before <strong>and</strong> IUCV message is sent to the virtual machine<br />

indicating that there is event data to be read.<br />

The value displayed is as set or defaulted by the BLOCK option of the<br />

MONITOR comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

EVent<br />

requests a display of all current settings established for event monitoring.<br />

Included in this display are the settings, listings, <strong>and</strong> status of applicable<br />

domains <strong>and</strong> their elements, users connected to *MONITOR for event data<br />

collections, <strong>and</strong> partitioning of the saved segment, among other things.<br />

INTerval<br />

requests a display of the interval value currently in effect for sample monitoring.<br />

This value is as set or defaulted by the INTERVAL option of the MONITOR<br />

SAMPLE comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

PARTition<br />

requests a display of the size of a saved segment that is currently partitioned<br />

for event records. The value is as set or defaulted by the PARTITION option of<br />

the MONITOR EVENT or MONITOR START comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

RATE<br />

requests a display of the rate value currently in effect for high frequency sample<br />

monitoring. This value is as set or defaulted by the RATE option of the<br />

MONITOR SAMPLE comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

SAMPle<br />

requests a display of all current settings established for sample monitoring.<br />

Included in this display are the settings, listings, <strong>and</strong> status of applicable<br />
