1 <strong>CP</strong> uses the user ID of the virtual machine issuing the comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

QUERY MDISK<br />

Use QUERY MDISK to display the device characteristics of minidisks: dedicated<br />

DASD, full-pack minidisks, user (permanent) minidisks, temporary disks (T-disks),<br />

<strong>and</strong> virtual disks in storage.<br />

Userid *<br />

Userid userid<br />

is the user ID of the virtual machine for which you want to display minidisk<br />

information. If omitted or specified as an asterisk (*), <strong>CP</strong> uses the user ID of the<br />

virtual machine issuing the comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

vdev<br />

vdev1-vdev2<br />

specifies the virtual device number (or numbers) of the minidisks for which you<br />

want to see information.<br />

DETails<br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> you want information about the type of minidisk <strong>and</strong> the duplex control<br />

operations performed for it. If you specify DETAILS, you cannot specify<br />

LOCATION.<br />

LOCation<br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> you want information about the location <strong>and</strong> size of the specified<br />

minidisk. If you specify LOCATION, you cannot specify DETAILS.<br />

DIRectory<br />

DRCT<br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> you want information about the minidisk defined in the <strong>CP</strong> user<br />

directory, rather than information about the currently defined minidisks for the<br />

target user ID. The minidisk must be on a dasd that is online <strong>and</strong> attached to<br />

the system.<br />
