The following response is issued for each active real device when you issue<br />

QUERY MDCACHE RDEV rdev DETAILS or QUERY MDCACHE RDEV rdev-rdev<br />

DETAILS. The additional lines for each real device contain cache eligibility<br />

information for any active minidisks on that device. The first ON/OFF for each<br />

minidisk indicates whether caching is currently enabled for the minidisk. The<br />

information in parenthesis which indicates that cache setting for the minidisk plus<br />

the cache setting for the real device add up the current cache eligibility of the<br />

minidisk.<br />
