Privilege Class: A<br />

Use QUERY MAXUSERS to display the maximum number of logged-on users<br />

allowed.<br />

1. The number of users actually logged on may be greater than the maximum<br />

value displayed. This can happen when the user logon limit is lowered to a point<br />

below the current number of users logged on, when the operator logs on <strong>and</strong><br />

the maximum number of users is already logged on, or if a virtual machine is<br />

logged on that has the IGNMAXU oper<strong>and</strong> of the OPTION control statement<br />

included in its user directory.<br />

Response 1:<br />

MAXUSERS = nnnnn<br />

is the response when a user logon limit is in effect.<br />

nnnnn<br />

identifies the maximum number of users allowed to be logged onto the system<br />

at any one time.<br />

Response 2:<br />

NO MAXUSERS LIMIT IS SET<br />

H<strong>CP</strong>002E Invalid oper<strong>and</strong> - oper<strong>and</strong><br />

is the response if no user logon limit has been set.<br />
