Use QUERY LINKS to display link information about a virtual device.<br />

Links vdev<br />

requests the display of information about links to virtual device located at the<br />

virtual device number vdev.<br />

STABLE<br />

requests that QUERY LINKS only display those links that were done with either<br />

SR or SW access modes.<br />

1. In a CSE complex, it is possible to receive multiple responses from this<br />

comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

2. In order to determine if any of the accesses to the specified minidisk are stable<br />

accesses, you must reissue the comm<strong>and</strong> with the STABLE option.<br />

3. The QUERY LINES, QUERY LINKS, <strong>and</strong> QUERY VIRTUAL LINES comm<strong>and</strong>s<br />

share the two possible abbreviations "LI" <strong>and</strong> "LIN". If you are authorized to<br />

issue these comm<strong>and</strong>s, it is recommended that you specify at least 4 character<br />

abbreviations of the LINES/LINKS oper<strong>and</strong> to ensure that you invoke the<br />

intended comm<strong>and</strong>. For example, instead of "Q LI" specify "Q LINK".<br />

Response 1:<br />

userid vdev {R/W} ,... (up to four responses per line)<br />

{R/O}<br />

userid<br />

is the user ID of the user who has a link to the specified virtual device.<br />

vdev<br />

is the virtual device number by which user userid refers to the device.<br />

R/O<br />

R/W<br />

is the type of access user userid has to the virtual device. R/O is read-only <strong>and</strong><br />

R/W is read-write access.<br />
