Use the QUERY ISLINK comm<strong>and</strong> to display information about the data links in the<br />

Communication Services (CS) collection.<br />

ALL<br />

Displays information for all of the links.<br />

rdev<br />

Displays information for the specified link. For duplex links, you may specify the<br />

odd or even real device number.<br />

Link: linkaddr Type: linktype<br />

Node: nodeid Bytes Sent: nnn<br />

State: state Bytes Received: nnn<br />

Buffer Count: y Status: status<br />

linkaddr<br />

Specifies the address for a particular link. This can be in the form of rdev or<br />

(rdev,rdev).<br />

linktype<br />

Specifies the type of link.<br />

nodeid<br />

Specifies the node ID of the remote domain controller.<br />

nnn<br />

Specifies the number of bytes of data sent to the remote domain controller or<br />

the number of bytes of data received by the local domain controller.<br />

state<br />

Specifies if the link is up or down.<br />

y Specifies the number of buffers in use.<br />

status<br />

Specifies the status of the link. For example, the status indicates the link is idle<br />

or an activity is in progress.<br />
