Use QUERY GRAF to display the status of graphic display devices <strong>and</strong> 328x<br />

display printers.<br />

ACTive<br />

indicates active graphic display devices. An active device is one that is in use<br />

by a user or the system <strong>and</strong> specified as neither FREE nor OFFLINE.<br />

ALL<br />

indicates all graphic display devices attached to the system. The status is<br />

displayed in the order of ACTIVE, FREE, <strong>and</strong> OFFLINE. You receive the same<br />

response as you would receive if you entered all of the following comm<strong>and</strong>s:<br />

query graf active<br />

query graf free<br />

query graf offline<br />

EXTended<br />

specifies that logical unit network qualifiers, or logical device host names <strong>and</strong> IP<br />

addresses, are displayed, if they exist.<br />

An IPv4 address is displayed in dotted-decimal format.<br />

Example: 9.130.44.144<br />

An IPv6 address is displayed in compressed format (“::” designates multiple<br />

16-bit groups of zeros).<br />

Example: The following is an IPv6 address:<br />

F802:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0A00:0001<br />

This address is displayed in compressed format as:<br />

F802::A00:1<br />

EXTended<br />

808 z/<strong>VM</strong>: <strong>CP</strong> <strong>Comm<strong>and</strong>s</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Utilities</strong> <strong>Reference</strong><br />

ATTach userid<br />

indicates the graphic display devices that are dedicated to a user on the<br />

system. If you specify userid, only displays attached to that user’s virtual<br />

machine are indicated. If you do not specify userid, you receive the status of all<br />

displays dedicated to any user on the system. Attached devices are always<br />

active.<br />
