Use QUERY <strong>CP</strong>DISKS to display the status of a <strong>CP</strong>-accessed minidisk or all<br />

<strong>CP</strong>-accessed minidisks.<br />

fm is the file mode letter of the <strong>CP</strong>-accessed minidisk. If omitted or specified as an<br />

asterisk (*), the default, <strong>CP</strong> displays the status of all the disks that it has<br />

accessed.<br />

1. To have <strong>CP</strong> access a minidisk, you can use the <strong>CP</strong>ACCESS comm<strong>and</strong>, or you<br />

can specify a <strong>CP</strong>_ACCESS statement in the system configuration file.<br />

If you enter QUERY <strong>CP</strong>DISKS with no additional parameters, you see something<br />

In this example,<br />

Label is the minidisk label that was assigned to the disk when it was formatted.<br />

Userid<br />

is the user ID of the minidisk owner.<br />

Vdev is the virtual device number of the minidisk, as specified in the owner’s<br />

directory entry in the system directory.<br />

Mode is the file mode that <strong>CP</strong> used to access the minidisk.<br />

QUERY <strong>CP</strong>DISKS<br />

Stat shows whether the minidisk is in read-only (R/O) or read-write (R/W) mode.<br />

Vol-ID is the real volume serial of the DASD volume that contains the minidisk.<br />
