QUERY CFLINKS
Examples
Messages
MODEL
is the three-character model number in the worldwide unique ID of the message
processor’s node descriptor.
MFG
is the three-character code that identifies the manufacturer in the worldwide
unique ID of the message processor’s node descriptor.
PLANT
is the two-character code that identifies the plant of manufacture in the
worldwide unique ID of the message processor’s node descriptor.
SEQ
is the twelve-character code that contains the serial number in the worldwide
unique ID of the message processor’s node descriptor.
Two lines of output are produced for each coupling facility virtual machine to which
this coupling facility virtual machine is connected. The first appears as follows:
DEVICES=nnnn nnnn ...
These are the virtual devices in use as message devices to the target coupling
facility virtual machine.
The second of these lines is displayed:
CFS=aa bb (PA=dd) CFR=ee ff (PA=hh) S_RLINK=userid
where:
aa The sending side’s first channel path ID.
bb The sending side’s second channel path ID (that might not appear).
dd The sender’s path available mask.
ee The receiving side’s first channel path ID.
ff The receiving side’s second channel path ID (that might not appear).
hh The receiver’s path available mask.
702 z/VM: CP Commands and Utilities Reference
userid
The user ID of the receiving coupling facility virtual machine.
This pair of lines is repeated for each coupling facility virtual machine to which the
queried coupling facility virtual machine is coupled.
CFUSER1 is coupled to coupling facility CFVM1. To find information about the
coupling facility-to-coupling facility links for which CFVM1 initiated, CFUSER1 could
enter the following:
query cflink name cfvm1
To find coupling facility-to-coupling facility link information for all coupling facility
virtual machines to which CFUSER1 is coupled, CFUSER1 could enter the
following:
query cflink
