Privilege Class: A, B, G
QUERY CFLINKS allows a guest to display information pertaining to links between
coupling facilities.
ALL
specifies that coupling facility to coupling facility link information should be
displayed for all coupling facility virtual machines to which the issuer is coupled.
NAME msgprocid
indicates a specific coupling facility virtual machine that is to be queried.
1. If the caller is a class G user, then only coupling facility-to-coupling link
information for message processors within the user’s current I/O configuration is
displayed. A class A or B user may display coupling facility link information for a
particular message processors by using the NAME keyword.
2. QUERY CFLINK returns information about the coupling facility-to-coupling
facility links that were created by the DEFINE CFLINK command or the
SPECIAL MSGP Directory Control Statement for a coupling facility virtual
machine. The QUERY MSGP command may be used to obtain information for
coupling links between OPTION CFUSER and coupling facility virtual machines.
The command first produces two lines of output describing the queried coupling
facility virtual machine:
MESSAGE PROCESSOR=nn USERID=userid PEERS=pp
TYPE=SIMDEV MODEL=001 MFG=IBM PLANT=EN SEQ=ND01
where:
msgprocid
nn is a sequence number assigned to the coupling facility virtual machine by
QUERY CFLINKS.
userid
is the user ID of the coupling facility virtual machine being queried.
QUERY CFLINKS
pp is either the number of sender peers or the number of receiver peers of this
coupling facility, whichever is greater.
TYPE
is the six-character device type in the worldwide unique ID of the message
processor’s node descriptor.
