The first value for the device is always OFF if it<br />

statement in the system configuration file. If it was<br />

set, the specified destination is shown. If the<br />

remaining destination values were not specified,<br />

the values are null <strong>and</strong> are shown as – NONE –. If<br />

they were specified, the specified value is shown.<br />

AFP characteristics AFP Printer processes files with advanced function<br />

printer (AFP) characteristics, that is, files that<br />

contain X'5A' CCWs or an extended attributes<br />

buffer (XAB).<br />

This response tells you the following about the card punch at the real device<br />

number 1F30. The first line means that the punch will:<br />

v Be available for spooling activity<br />

v Process files for any user ID<br />

v Select class 1 spool files.<br />

The second line tells you that the punch will:<br />

v Select files requesting STANDARD form<br />

v Automatically schedule forms output<br />

v Not generate a separator page for output files.<br />

The third line tells you that the punch will not use destination values as a criterion<br />

for selecting files. The parts of the first line of the response can also be:<br />
