Use MSGNOH to allow a service virtual machine to send messages without the<br />

st<strong>and</strong>ard MESSAGE comm<strong>and</strong> header.<br />

ALL<br />

identifies the user to whom you are sending the message. To send a message<br />

to yourself, specify an asterisk (*).<br />

Specify OPERATOR if you want to send a message to the primary system<br />

operator, regardless of his or her user ID. If you specify ALL, you broadcast the<br />

message to all users receiving messages.<br />

ALLDBCS<br />

transmits the message to all users logged on to DBCS (double-byte character<br />

set) terminals.<br />

ALLSBCS<br />

transmits the message to all users logged on to SBCS (single-byte character<br />

set) terminals.<br />

AT ALL<br />

transmits the message to every system in the CSE complex. The lowest return<br />

code is returned to the comm<strong>and</strong> issuer. This is the default in a CSE complex<br />

when AT * is not the default (see “Usage Notes” on page 589).<br />

AT sysname<br />

transmits the message to a specific system, sysname, in the CSE complex. The<br />

return code is returned to the comm<strong>and</strong> issuer.<br />

AT *<br />

transmits the message to the system you are logged onto.<br />

MSGNOH<br />

msgtext<br />

identifies the text of the message being sent. The length of the message is<br />
