is the response received by the user when the system operator sends a message.<br />

is the response received by the user when another user sends a message.<br />

identifies the time the message was sent to the user in hours, minutes, <strong>and</strong><br />

seconds.<br />

identifies the user sending the message. LOGNxxxx identifies the user in the<br />

process of logging on to a real device. LOGLxxxx identifies the user in the<br />

process of logging on to a logical device. LOGVxxxx identifies the logical unit<br />

name of the SNA/CCS terminal to which a user is in the process of logging on;<br />

it is the name from the VTAM definition of the terminal as an SNA logical unit. If<br />

the user is not logged on, LOGNxxxx or LOGLxxxx identifies the line number of<br />

the device from which the message originated.<br />

msgtext<br />

identifies the message text.<br />
