informs the originator of the comm<strong>and</strong> that control options have been specified for a<br />

noncached DASD.<br />

is the level of control: SYSCTL, DEVCTL, or NOCTL.<br />

rdev<br />

is the real device number.<br />

Response 5:<br />

XSTORE CLEARING STARTED<br />

XSTORE ATTACHED, SIZE=nnnnnnnnM<br />

informs the guest that Exp<strong>and</strong>ed Storage has been attached to his or her virtual<br />

machine.<br />

The first line is issued when migration of pages from Exp<strong>and</strong>ed Storage to DASD is<br />

necessary; for example, <strong>CP</strong> has already used some of the area to be attached to<br />

the guest.<br />

Response 6:<br />

XSTORE ATTACHED TO userid<br />

informs the Class B user who issued the ATTACH XSTORE comm<strong>and</strong> that<br />

Exp<strong>and</strong>ed Storage has been attached to the specified virtual machine.<br />
