Use HOLD LOGON to prevent a user from accessing the host system.
userid
identifies the user you want to prevent accessing the host system. The user
need not be logged on.
LOGon
prevents the specified user logging on the host system.
1. Use the FREE command to release a user from logon hold status.
2. The HOLD LOGON command is not allowed for the user ID defined as the
primary system operator on the SYSTEM_USERIDS statement in the system
configuration file.
Note: If a primary system operator user ID is not specified, the default is
OPERATOR.
3. A maximum of 32 users can be put into hold at any one time.
