NOMSG
Use FORCE to disconnect or logoff an active user.
userid
identifies the user to be logged off or disconnected.
LOGoff
indicates that the user should be logged off. This is the default. You can also
specify this operand with or without the IMMEDIATE, WITHIN or BY options.
DISConnect
indicates that the user should be disconnected.
NOMSG
indicates that the asynchronous FORCE response message should be
suppressed. This option has no affect when issued by the primary system
operator.
FORCE
1 The default shutdown timeout value for LOGOFF is determined by the signal timeout interval
value, which is set using the SET SIGNAL SHUTDOWNTIME command or configuration
statement. A force is immediate for an enabled guest with no default signal shutdown time defined.
WITHIN interval
sends the user a shutdown signal and delays logging them off until either the
specified interval (in seconds) has elapsed or the user machine indicates that it
has shut down. The interval may range from 1 to 65535 seconds. See Usage
Note 7 on page 442.
BY time
sends the user a shutdown signal and delays logging them off until either the
designated time (specified as hh:mm or hh:mm:ss) is reached or the user
machine indicates that it has shut down. See Usage Note 7 on page 442.
IMMEDiate
logs the user off immediately without first sending them a shutdown signal. If
the user is in the process of being logged off, any delay to allow the guest to
process a shutdown signal is terminated. See Usage Note 7 on page 442.
