register whose contents are dumped.<br />

The content of each register is dumped in hexadecimal <strong>and</strong> represents the high half<br />

of the full 64-bit register. Up to four registers per line are dumped for each range<br />

you specify. If required, multiple lines are dumped to a maximum of four lines.<br />

Dump Register<br />

AR nn = areg0 areg1 areg2 areg3<br />

is the response that is sent to the virtual printer when you dump the access<br />

registers; nn is the first (or only) access register whose contents are dumped.<br />

The contents of the requested access registers are dumped in hexadecimal. Up to<br />

four registers per line are dumped. If required, multiple response lines are dumped<br />

to a maximum of four lines.<br />

FPR nn = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ±.ddddddddddddddddd E dd<br />

is the response that is sent to the virtual printer when you dump the floating-point<br />

registers. The nn is the floating-point register whose contents are dumped on the<br />

line. The contents of the floating-point registers are dumped in both the internal<br />

hexadecimal format <strong>and</strong> the E-format; the first part of the response is the contents<br />

of the register in hexadecimal, <strong>and</strong> the second part of the response is the contents<br />

in exponential decimal format. Only one register is dumped per line. If you specified<br />

a range of registers, multiple response lines are dumped.<br />

DUMP Registers<br />

is the response that is sent to the virtual printer when you dump the floating-point<br />

control register. The contents of the floating-point control register are dumped in<br />

hexadecimal format.<br />
