<strong>IBM</strong>class<br />

Use DISABLE COMMAND or CMD to prevent <strong>CP</strong> from processing requests for the<br />

specified <strong>CP</strong> comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

You can also prevent processing of <strong>CP</strong> comm<strong>and</strong>s during initialization using the<br />

DISABLE COMMAND or CMD configuration file statements. For more information,<br />

see the z/<strong>VM</strong>: <strong>CP</strong> Planning <strong>and</strong> Administration book.<br />

comm<strong>and</strong><br />

is the name of the comm<strong>and</strong> that you are disabling. The variable comm<strong>and</strong> is a<br />

1- to 12-character alphanumeric string.<br />

Query SUBCmd subcomm<strong>and</strong><br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> the name of the <strong>CP</strong> QUERY subcomm<strong>and</strong> that you are disabling. The<br />

variable subcomm<strong>and</strong> is a 1- to 12-character alphanumeric string.<br />

Query Virtual SUBCmd subcomm<strong>and</strong><br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> the name of the <strong>CP</strong> QUERY VIRTUAL subcomm<strong>and</strong> that you are<br />

disabling. The variable subcomm<strong>and</strong> is a 1- to 12-character alphanumeric<br />

string.<br />

Set SUBCmd subcomm<strong>and</strong><br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> the name of the <strong>CP</strong> SET subcomm<strong>and</strong> that you are disabling. The<br />

variable subcomm<strong>and</strong> is a 1- to 12-character alphanumeric string.<br />

<strong>IBM</strong>class *<br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> to disable all versions of the specified comm<strong>and</strong> or subcomm<strong>and</strong>. If<br />

omitted, <strong>IBM</strong>CLASS * is the default.<br />

<strong>IBM</strong>class c<br />

tells <strong>CP</strong> to disable a specific version of the specified comm<strong>and</strong> or subcomm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

The variable c can be any 1 of the following:<br />

A this is a system-control comm<strong>and</strong> to be used by the primary system<br />

operator.<br />

B this is a comm<strong>and</strong> for operational control of real devices.<br />

C this is a comm<strong>and</strong> to alter system storage.<br />

D this is a comm<strong>and</strong> for system-wide control of spool files.<br />

E this is a comm<strong>and</strong> to examine system storage.<br />

F this is a comm<strong>and</strong> for service control of real devices.<br />

G this is a general-use comm<strong>and</strong> used to control the functions of a virtual<br />

machine.<br />
