Use DEFINE LINE to add a virtual communication line to your virtual machine<br />

configuration.<br />

vdev<br />

AS vdev<br />

identifies the virtual device number of the line you are defining.<br />

<strong>IBM</strong>1<br />

identifies the virtual device type of the line you are defining. This is a 2741,<br />

3767, or equivalent device. This is the default.<br />

TELE2<br />

identifies the virtual device type of the line you are defining. This is a 3101,<br />

3151, 3161, 3162, 3163, or equivalent device.<br />

1. After the line is defined, you must enter DIAL from a real device to logically<br />

connect the line to your virtual machine.<br />
