Use INSTALL to recover the contents of a minidisk from the z/<strong>VM</strong> System DDR<br />

tapes or CD-ROM.<br />

INSTALL with the RECOVER option displays the following panel:<br />

TAPE<br />

loads the minidisk from 3480 or 3490 tape. This is the default value.<br />

CD<br />

loads the minidisk from the CD-ROM.<br />

3590<br />

loads the minidisk from 3590 tape.<br />

mdiskaddr<br />

loadaddr<br />

RECOVER<br />

loads the contents of a minidisk from the z/<strong>VM</strong> System DDR tapes or CD-ROM.<br />

mdiskaddr<br />

is the address of the minidisk to be loaded from the z/<strong>VM</strong> System DDR<br />

tapes or CD-ROM.<br />

When you recover a minidisk belonging to a user ID other than MAINT, you<br />

must specify the alias address instead of the actual minidisk address.<br />

loadaddr<br />

is the address to which you restore the minidisk. This disk must be a 3390<br />
