Usage Notes
Responses
1. You can construct trace sets by coding a program that runs in your virtual
machine. The program would retrieve commands from storage and pass them
to the control program using DIAGNOSE instructions.
In most cases, the commands are to be applied to a subsequent program that is
not yet in operation. You can use the SUSPEND option to ensure that the trace
set has no effect until the next TRACE GOTO, TRACE CALL, or TRACE
RETURN occurs.
2. For more information, see “Usage Notes” on page 1601.
