IQD, ISD, OSA, OSC, OSD, or OSE channel paths.

Use DEFINE CHPID or PATH to define a new channel path identifier (CHPID) to the
I/O configuration.
nn is the number representing the logical channel path (CHPID) that you are
defining. The variable nn must be a 1- to 2-digit hexadecimal number between
X'00' and X'FF'.
PCHID nnnn
is the physical channel ID associated with the channel you are defining. The
variable nnnn must be a 1- to 4-digit hexadecimal number between X'0000' and
X'FFFF'. Your machine likely supports a lower maximum value. Only PCHIDs
installed on your machine should be entered.
Note: This parameter is valid and required only when your processor is
capable of logical channel-subsystem support. Also, this parameter does
not apply to internal channel path types such as
INTERNAL_QUEUED_direct_communication_channels (IQD) and
INTERNAL_COUPLING_Peer_channels (ICP) because there are no
physical channel paths associated with them.
