9999, it is rounded to the nearest thous<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> shown as nnnK, where nnn is<br />

the number of thous<strong>and</strong>s. If the number is greater than 999499, it is rounded to<br />

the nearest million <strong>and</strong> shown as nnnM, where nnn is the number of millions.<br />

<strong>CP</strong>Y [*]nnn<br />

indicates the number of file copies to be printed or punched when the file is<br />

produced. If the number is preceded by an asterisk (*), the 3800 printer prints<br />

each page from the spooled output files nnn times before going on to the next<br />

Response 10:<br />

A tape drive specified on an SPXTAPE DUMP, LOAD, or SCAN comm<strong>and</strong> with a<br />

disposition of APPEND may be placed in a “WAITING” state:<br />

v For DUMP, this occurs if the comm<strong>and</strong> with APPEND finishes processing before<br />

the next comm<strong>and</strong> is entered. The drive remains in this state until it is selected<br />

by another SPXTAPE DUMP comm<strong>and</strong>, or the operation is canceled or ended.<br />

v For LOAD or SCAN, this occurs between the entry of the first comm<strong>and</strong> with<br />

APPEND <strong>and</strong> the comm<strong>and</strong> that completes the append sequence. The drive<br />

remains in this state until it is selected by a corresponding SPXTAPE LOAD or<br />

SCAN comm<strong>and</strong> with a disposition other than APPEND, or the operation is<br />

canceled or ended.<br />

<strong>and</strong> displayed on the screen.<br />
