When SPXTAPE DUMP, LOAD, or SCAN finishes processing, the following<br />

response is written in the comm<strong>and</strong> summary log <strong>and</strong> displayed on the screen.<br />

is the SPXTAPE operation that has finished.<br />

COMPLETED<br />

indicates the operation completed on its own accord.<br />

ENDED<br />

indicates the user ended the operation with the SPXTAPE END comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

CANCELED<br />

indicates the user canceled the operation with the SPXTAPE CANCEL<br />

comm<strong>and</strong> or by resetting the last tape drive.<br />

TERMINATED<br />

indicates the system terminated the operation. One or more messages are<br />

issued to identify the reason.<br />

VDEV vdev<br />

VDEV vdev1-vdev2<br />

indicates the virtual device number, or the range of virtual device numbers, on<br />

which the SPXTAPE operation was active.<br />

WITH ERRORS<br />

indicates there was a problem processing at least one file. The specific files <strong>and</strong><br />

problems are reported in messages <strong>and</strong> recorded in the logs.<br />

TIME STARTED: hh:mm:ss<br />

indicates the time the SPXTAPE comm<strong>and</strong> started.<br />

TIME ENDED: hh:mm:ss<br />

indicates the time the SPXTAPE comm<strong>and</strong> ended.<br />

TAPE COUNT: nnn<br />

indicates the number of tape volumes processed by the operation.<br />

FILES PROCESSED: n,nnn,nnn<br />

indicates the number of files processed by the operation. A file that is split<br />

between two or more volumes is counted only once.<br />

SPOOL PAGES: nn,nnn,nnn<br />

indicates the number of spool pages processed by the operation. This includes<br />

XAB data pages <strong>and</strong> map pages. For SCAN, this is the number of pages that<br />

would be required to hold the files if they were loaded.<br />
