ACCESS
TRUNK
▼ vlanid
Use the SET VSWITCH command to set the attributes of an existing virtual switch.
switchname
is the name of the virtual switch to be set. The switchname is a single token
(1–8 alphanumeric characters) that identifies the virtual switch. This virtual
switch was created by a DEFINE VSWITCH command or statement in the
System Configuration file.
GRANT userid
specifies the userid to be added to the access list for this virtual switch. This
allows userid to connect a QDIO adapter to switchname. If an External Security
Manager (ESM) is in control of the virtual switch, it may override the CP access
list.
PORTType ACCESS
defines the type of connections that are established by the userid to be an
access port. The guest is unaware of VLAN IDs and sends and receives only
untagged traffic.
