HCP002E Invalid operand - operand
Use SET SHUTDOWNTIME to set the amount of time reserved for a CP
SHUTDOWN to be performed. When a SHUTDOWN command is issued or the VM
system shuts down automatically as the result of receiving a hardware deactivation
signal, there is a time interval within which the shutdown must be completed. The
SHUTDOWNTIME duration specifies how much of the time interval is reserved for
CP, and the difference between the time interval and the time reserved for CP
determines how much time, if any, guests are allowed to use to perform their own
shutdown processing.
duration
is the amount of time reserved for CP shutdown processing, in seconds. It must
be a value between 0 and 32767.
1. This command takes effect only when the WITHIN interval or BY hh:mm:ss
options of the SHUTDOWN command are used. If these options are not
specified on the command, the SHUTDOWNTIME and SIGNAL SHUTDOWN
times are added together and that is the time allowed for the shutdown, if
necessary. Refer to “SHUTDOWN” on page 1433.
2. When a CP shutdown occurs due to a hardware deactivation, and if the
SHUTDOWNTIME is more than 300 seconds (5 minutes), there will not be time
left for guests to shut down.
