Use SET MIH to specify whether missing interrupt conditions should be h<strong>and</strong>led for<br />

I/O operations involving devices dedicated to your virtual machine.<br />

ON<br />

H<strong>CP</strong>026E Oper<strong>and</strong> missing or invalid<br />

indicates that <strong>CP</strong> automatically h<strong>and</strong>les missing interrupt conditions to the<br />

virtual machine’s dedicated devices.<br />

SET MIH<br />

OFF<br />

indicates that the missing interrupt conditions to the virtual machine’s dedicated<br />

devices are detected but are not h<strong>and</strong>led.<br />

1. SET MITIME OFF overrides any setting of the MIH. Missing interrupts can be<br />

h<strong>and</strong>led only if they are detected.<br />

2. The default, which is to not h<strong>and</strong>le missing interrupt conditions detected for the<br />

virtual machine’s dedicated devices, is in effect when MIH is not specified on<br />

the user directory OPTION statement or the SET comm<strong>and</strong> is not issued.<br />
