Privilege Class: G<br />

Use the SET LOADDEV comm<strong>and</strong> to identify the location of a program to be<br />

loaded as a result of a guest IPL from SCSI disk. Additionally, parameters to be<br />

passed to the program may also be defined.<br />

SET LOADDEV<br />

1. The letter ’h’ in the syntax diagram represents a hex character between 0 <strong>and</strong> F.<br />

The number of letters indicates the maximum number of hex characters that can<br />

be entered. Leading zeros are not required.<br />

CLEAR<br />

Any <strong>and</strong> all previously defined LOADDEV parameters are cleared before any<br />

new parameters are processed. If no other parameters follow the CLEAR<br />

option, a guest IPL from SCSI disk cannot be performed until at least one SET<br />

LOADDEV comm<strong>and</strong> is issued.<br />

PORTname<br />

The hexadecimal digits designating the 8-byte fibre channel port name of the<br />

F<strong>CP</strong>-I/O device. It must be a value from 0-FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF. For values<br />

longer than 8 hex characters at least one separator blank is required after the<br />

8th character. The default is 0.<br />

LUN<br />

The hexadecimal digits representing the 8-byte logical unit number of the<br />

F<strong>CP</strong>-I/O device. It must be a value from 0-FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF. For values<br />

longer than 8 hex characters at least one separator blank is required after the<br />

8th character. The default is 0.<br />

BOOTprog<br />

A decimal value between 0 <strong>and</strong> 30 specifying the program to be loaded from<br />

the F<strong>CP</strong>-I/O device. The default is 0.<br />

BR_LBA<br />

The hexadecimal digits designating the logical-block address of the boot record<br />
