fname
ftype
Privilege Class: B
Use CPVLOAD to load a file into your virtual machine’s storage.
fname
is the name of the file you want loaded.
ftype
is the type of the file you want loaded.
* tells CP to search the list of accessed disks for the file you want to load. This is
the default if you do not specify a file mode.
fmode
is the mode of the CP-accessed minidisk where the file you want to load
resides.
location
is the 31–bit address, in hexadecimal, where the file is to be loaded.
1. The specified file is loaded as a core image into virtual machine storage. The
contents of the file are copied into virtual storage starting at the designated
location and proceeding upward.
2. The file may be fixed or variable format and must have a logical record length
less than 4,000 bytes.
