Use QUERY VIRTUAL MSGPROC to display information about virtual message<br />

processors within your I/O configuration.<br />

ALL<br />

specifies that information about all CF Service Machines within your I/O<br />

configuration are to be displayed.<br />

NAME msgprocid<br />

specifies the user ID of a specific CF Service Machine within your I/O<br />

configuration to display.<br />

1. To define a virtual message processor <strong>and</strong> associated virtual message devices,<br />

use the DEFINE MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

2. To display information about the virtual message devices within your I/O<br />

configuration, use the QUERY VIRTUAL MSGDEVICES comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

3. To restart a virtual message processor that is in your I/O configuration, use the<br />

RESTART MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

4. To remove all message facility capability from your virtual machine, use the SET<br />

MSGFACIL OFF comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

5. To detach a virtual message processor <strong>and</strong> associated virtual message devices,<br />

use the DETACH MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />
