Use QUERY VIRTUAL CTCA to display status of the channel-to-channel adapters<br />

accessible to your virtual machine.<br />

Response 1:<br />

CTCA vdev1 subclass {NOT READY } [SUBCHANNEL = vsub]<br />

{COUPLED TO userid vdev2 }<br />

is displayed for each virtual channel-to-channel adapter in your virtual machine<br />

system.<br />

Response 2:<br />

CTCA vdev1 ON DEV rdev [SUBCHANNEL = vsub]<br />

is returned when your CTCA is a real device dedicated to your virtual machine.<br />

vdev1<br />

identifies the virtual device number of the CTCA.<br />

subclass<br />

identifies the subclass of the virtual CTCA (3088, SCTC, BCTC, CNC, or<br />

FCTC).<br />

userid<br />

identifies the virtual machine to which your CTCA is connected.<br />

vdev2<br />

identifies the virtual device number of the CTCA connected by the virtual<br />

machine identified as userid.<br />

rdev<br />

identifies the real device number of your CTCA.<br />

vsub<br />

identifies the virtual subchannel number.<br />
