Use QUERY VDISK to display a list of all existing virtual disks in storage, or to<br />

display information about the system or user limits on the storage available for<br />

virtual disks in storage.<br />

Syslim<br />

displays the maximum amount of system storage that may be allocated for<br />

virtual disks in storage on the system.<br />

Userlim<br />

displays the maximum amount of system storage that may be allocated for<br />

virtual disks in storage defined by a single user using the DEFINE comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

Default<br />

displays the default limit. If an installation default is defined in the system<br />

configuration file, that value is displayed. If an installation default is not defined<br />

in the system configuration file, or if the file is not found, the built-in default is<br />

displayed.<br />

Response 1:<br />

If QUERY VDISK or QUERY VDSK is entered with no additional oper<strong>and</strong>s:<br />

VDISK userid vdev nnnnnnnn BLK [nnnn LINKS]<br />

is displayed for each virtual disk in storage that currently exists.<br />

userid<br />

is the owner of the virtual disk in storage.<br />

vdev<br />

is the virtual device number of the virtual disk in storage in the owner’s virtual<br />

machine.<br />

nnnnnnnn BLK<br />

is the size of the virtual disk in storage in 512-byte blocks.<br />

nnnn LINKS<br />

is the number of links to this virtual disk in storage. This value is displayed only<br />

for a virtual disk in storage defined in the directory.<br />
