The following is an example of a response to QUERY TRFILES SYSTEM<br />

The following is an example of a response to QUERY TRFILES SYSTEM<br />

ISODATE:<br />

OWNERID<br />

identifies the file owner. The file owner is specified by TO userid when the<br />

TRSAVE comm<strong>and</strong> is issued; if TO is not specified, the owner is the TRSAVE<br />

comm<strong>and</strong> issuer.<br />

FILE<br />

identifies the spool file.<br />

TYPE<br />

indicates the type of system data file. This is TRF for system trace files.<br />

CL<br />

identifies the class file, either A or W. If the file class is A, the file can be<br />

processed. If the file class is W, the file is in the set of files to which an active<br />

trace is writing.<br />

RECS<br />

identifies the number of 4 KB pages in the file.<br />

DATE<br />

identifies the date the file was closed. If the file is open for reading or writing, or<br />

if the file is being processed by the TRACERED utility, OPEN-TRSAVE is<br />

displayed instead of a date <strong>and</strong> time. The format of the date is determined by<br />

the SHORTDATE, FULLDATE, or ISODATE oper<strong>and</strong>. If no date format oper<strong>and</strong><br />

is specified, the user’s default date format setting is used.<br />

TIME<br />

identifies the time the file was closed.<br />

FILENAME<br />

identifies the file name assigned by the issuer of the TRSAVE comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

FILETYPE<br />

identifies the file type assigned to the file. System trace files are typed as<br />

follows:<br />

<strong>CP</strong> <strong>CP</strong> system trace tables<br />

<strong>VM</strong> Trace data for a user ID<br />

<strong>VM</strong>G Trace data for a virtual machine group<br />

IO Trace data from IO trace<br />

DATA Trace data from DATA trace<br />

ORIGINID<br />

identifies the originator of the trace file. For traces defined by<br />

TRSOURCE...TYPE GT FOR USER... comm<strong>and</strong>s, originid is the user ID<br />

specified by FOR USER. For <strong>VM</strong> GROUPS, originid is the user ID that
