If you enter a QUERY TAPES ALL command, CP displays the same response as it
would display if you entered QUERY TAPES ACTIVE, QUERY TAPES FREE, and
QUERY TAPES OFFLINE commands.
Response 6:
If CP cannot find a tape drive of the type you specified, you see a response like
this:
q tapes offline
An offline tape was not found.
Ready;
In this response, offline may be replaced with active, attached, BOXED, free,
depending on what you specified on the command.
Response 7:
HCP003E Invalid option - option
HCP020E Userid missing or invalid
If you enter a QUERY TAPES, QUERY TAPES ACTIVE, QUERY TAPES ALL, or
QUERY TAPES ATTACH command, and the tape drive was previously attached
with the MULTIUSER option of the CP ATTACH command or the MULTIUSER
operand of the DEDICATE directory control statement, you see a response like this:
q tapes attach
TAPE 2100 ATTACHED TO USER1 0181 R/W NOASSIGN MULTIUSER
TAPE 2100 ATTACHED TO USER2 0181 R/W NOASSIGN MULTIUSER
Ready;
This means that the magnetic tape drive at real address 2100 is attached to USER1
and USER2 at virtual device address 0181. MULTIUSER indicates that the tape
drive is shared by both users, and NOASSIGN states that the users must manage
the assignment of the tape drive by using assign and unassign I/O.
HCP263E Too many operands were supplied for
this command.
