PERM
returns information about the address spaces that userid has permission to
access.
1. Programs that parse the output of this command should not depend on the
ordering of the columns in the output. They should use the heading line to
determine which column contains a particular piece of information.
Response 1:
ASIT STORAGE P/S ACC SPACE IDENTIFICATION
aaa...aaa nu {PRV} {R/O} sss...sss
{SHR} {R/W}
{---}
aaa...aaa
is the address space identification token (ASIT) for the address space (16
hexadecimal digits).
nu where n is the size of the address space in bytes and u is the unit of measure:
M megabytes
G gigabytes
T terabytes
P petabytes
E exabytes
For the primary address space, this includes discontiguous storage (that is -
NSS or saved segment storage located above the virtual machine’s defined
size). If discontiguous storage is used, there may be non-addressable areas
within this storage.
PRV
indicates that the address space is in the private state.
SHR
indicates that the address space is in the shareable state.
sss...sss
is the space ID for the address space (3 to 33 characters).
R/O
R/W
--- show the degree of access permitted to the user. Three dashes are displayed
when a class E user uses the ASIT or SPACE operands for a space he does
not have permission to access.
