Use QUERY SHARE to display the type <strong>and</strong> intensity of your share of the system.<br />

userid<br />

is the virtual machine whose share you want to display.<br />

Response 1:<br />

One of the following is returned to the comm<strong>and</strong> issuer:<br />

USER userid: ABSOLUTE SHARE = nnn% [; m DEDICATED <strong>CP</strong>U[S]]<br />

MAXIMUM SHARE = option type value<br />

- or -<br />

USER userid: RELATIVE SHARE = nnnnn [; m DEDICATED <strong>CP</strong>U[S]]<br />

MAXIMUM SHARE = option type value<br />

ABSOLUTE SHARE = nnn%<br />

appears for users with an absolute share. The oper<strong>and</strong> nnn% specifies the<br />

percent of system resources this user is allowed to access.<br />

RELATIVE SHARE = nnnnn<br />

appears for users with a relative share. The oper<strong>and</strong> nnnnn specifies the<br />

relative priority of access to system resources, when compared to all other<br />

users with relative shares.<br />

m DEDICATED <strong>CP</strong>U[S]<br />

specifies the number of virtual <strong>CP</strong>Us this user has that have a real processor<br />

dedicated to them. This string does not appear if the user has no dedicated<br />

processors (for example, when m = 0).<br />

option<br />

either NOLIMIT, LIMITSOFT, or LIMITHARD. Note: When NOLIMIT appears, the<br />

type <strong>and</strong> value will not be shown.<br />

type<br />

either RELATIVE or ABSOLUTE.<br />

value<br />

when type is RELATIVE, value is nnnnn. When type is ABSOLUTE, value is<br />

nnn%.<br />
